Fox! God knows. Would depend on what game store it was, but I'd expect to be lucky if I started on £7. Why'd you ask? Planning on changing career.
:p

EDIT/ Guess your watching Hellsing then Mono? *noticed avatar change*

Is that Sera Victoria or something?? (Only seen Hellsing Ultimate Vol 1 so unsure of her name) she has some awesome poses though!!!

To be honest Voddas I am thinking of changing my career, I cant stand it hear any longer. I have the Game store in canary wharfs phone number, All I have to do is phone them and ask if tehy have any full time jobs going, I just dont have the bottle for some reason haha

I sould really sit down and watch Hellsing from start to finish. I've only ever seen the episodes staggered and in the wrong order as I watched the series on winamp shoutcast TV. Guess you enjoyed it from your comments.

@Fox: I know what you mean mate. I wish I had a different job too however I would only leave for a job that either gave more money or was something I'd be really intrested in enough to take a (small) drop in pay. I'd love to work in a game or computer shop but I want to do better.... if you get what I mean.

Yeah I know what you mean Voddas, it would be a DRASTIC pay cut of round about £12,000pa haha, but if I aspire to be a store manager then the pay would be better. Im just not happy in offices anymore. Its making me miserable

The question is, could I afford a paycut that big? Probably not, but then I think, well I spend alot of that money on games anyway, so in theory......ah I dunno, im just unhapy and looking for escapes routes

I feel for you mate. I don't think I could take a pay cut that big but obviously it's down to your opinion. I would give suggestions but I'm in no place to be giving adice.
Possibly take an after work course, Volunteer for CV Brownie points, or just generaly keep your eyes open for something to jump out at you then apply. Or what ever.... =P

Feel free to give advise Voddas, you do have one year on me being 24 n all ;), your the wisest here :p

Ive always wanted to work in a games store, but I guess I have commitments now

12669 morning all the 4th oldest has arrived :p

EDIT: Fox it is really hard to get a job in game shops, normally that is, you stand a better result if you know a few people who can help you

Don't bring my age into it!

Nah, I can't see there being a correct decision yet Fox. Still young mate, no BIG things ropping you down (House, Kid etc). You should get yourself doing something you enjoy doing now coz as you get older you'll be stuck in a job with no choices.

LIVE LIFE TO THE MAX.... as those new cool Pepsi Max adverts say :p

EDIT/ Yo Black! Be back in 10. Going for a break.

Well I do have a flat and bills to pay Voddas, but yeah I guess I dont have a mortage

Hey Black 4th oldest lol. Cheers for the heads up, how so? Im pretty clued up regarding selling points of consoles etc, although I hate most Nintendo consoles so hopefully they wont ask me in the interview to sell him one haha

"So your after a Wii......dont bother they have ruined classic gaming in my opinion, stick with your PS3 or 360" :p haha

12673 they seem to be really picky when it comes to choosing applicants and i've heard that the interviews are all group interviews

also i wouldn't say that about the wii as i think that's a fast track way to get yourself fired :p remember you just lost them a sale on a new console (though if you convince them to go and buy one of the more expensive ones it will be overlooked this time)

Also i'm third youngest :p

Black, you make a Game Store sound like a Car show room

"I saw you looking at the PS3, it's a bequtifull model, we also do it in different size ranges for different peoples needs. *throws a pad at them* Fancy taking it for a spin round the block?"
:p
