Oh yeah sorry I had to run off to that course thing. I did'nt see the post, what page was it on, can you remember?

Im really dissapointed actually, I was well geared up for Fallout 3, really excited about it but I watched a few gameplay clips and its completly fell short on my expectations :(

I was playing Lost Planet last night though, I love getting in the mechs, its awesome!! You played it guys?

I don't get to play many games T_T I only jump on COD4 when I get free time coz I've completed it and multiplayer is easy to start and stop on.

am i the only one which doesn't see why cod4 is so brilliant?
i played it through first time on 2nd to the the hardest difficulty and found it a good game...the online matches are good too. but once its completed its "WOW" factor sorta dies in a heartbeat.

keep playing the sniper level simply because i still try to get that guy in the head...managed it afew times but still it doesn't kill him lol.

Voddas have you tried to fight the tanks in the field?

@Fox from what i've read there was one scene on each path you could take through the game so it wasn't as bad as some of the ones out there and it was definitly more story orientated.

it surprised me considering what the anime turned out to be like, though the manga is closer to the game with certain things (nothing as bad as that mind)

Melty Blood though is a fine fighting game not bad considering it was fan made

I've not been tempted by lost planet really, i don't know why but at the time i was going through my RPG binge which is still affecting me hence why i've restarted Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga.

Well tach *rolls sleeves up* the thing with CoD4 is it is graphically brilliant and the online gameplay has so much replay value. Its very easy to join games etc and the ranking system keeps it very entertaining i.e. getting specific amount of headshots with shotguns etc to gain more weapons.

I think people love it so much purely for these factors, its just a downright brilliant multiplayer game, and the single player was brillaint, far better than that of Halo 3.

Im hoping CoD5 will surpass CoD4 and I think it will, I think its going to be bloody brilliant :)
 
12267 don't worry Tach i feel the same but its more of a personal prefrence thing really :p in the sense that A) i'm now only intrested in FPS when they offer atomsphere and are either Horror based or sci fi based. Realism makes me get bored real fast. B) i'm just bored of FPS's in general i gorged on the genre when i first got my 360 with all of the unrealistc FPSs at the time (Perfect Dark Zero, Quake IV then later on Prey etc) and out of them i only liked Prey really and the found i had more fun with RPGs with the odd action adventure here and there (Devil May Cry ftw)

But of course everyones opinion is different.

Black you should be able to pick up LP for about £9 these days. Its well worth it, some great moments in it, you too Tach as its been released for the PS3 aswell.

i plan to sell my COD4 before the exchange rate drops due to the hype of COD5 starts.

just want LBP right now. im betting that i'll have my playstation stolen off me when i have LBP lol

think it'd be funny to have little sack people running past a coffee mug which reads "Nice six pack" and has a pack of beer, reading below it is "...and a damn sight easier to get" lol

Thats actually a VERY good point Tach, although I probably wont get rid of my CoD4, I still have 5 achievements to get for my 1000G, but even after that I'll still want to swap between modern warfare and WWII

They should make a Call of Duty: Future Combat

It would be all futuristic weapons in a war between humans and alien creatures, it would basically be Starship Troopers in a CoD engine!! Personally I think it would be pure genious!!!

or Call of Duty: Vietnam :p
