Seems our office has been used by newcomers over the weekend......welcome newcomer
*walks in door and sits in chair*
im beat, had a excellent weekend and now knackered....might aswell post it now as it is abit of a mission to write and i might not be awake for much longer....
Saturday Laura dragged me round luton so she can go shoping and see me, had alot of fun and hugs n kisses so i was fine with the shopping, i found out that im allowed to watch anime with her around the flat/house well get. but she picked up witchblade in HMV and did the "Don't you dare think of watching this mister" lol, sunday i woke up and decided to help out around the house.....our washing machine died on saturday night so i gave a hand replacing it with a new one. but it left soap crystals on the drive....so sat morning went out and washed and swept the drive. tidied and vaccumed up all downstairs. put the washing on and dishwasher...then went out, missed the bus into town so had to walk like there was no tomorrow. still i missd the bus for stevenage BY 2 MINUTES
had to wait 60minutes for the next bus lol got there and met up with the missus and her parents, luckily i'm well known by the mum and made afew joice jokes which put me in a good light with the stepdad. then Laura dragged me round shops, then spend along time walking round, joking an talking. then we stood kissing and cuddlin for awhile and i kept doing the thing i've learnt not to play around with....on friday i proposed online i did it in jest just to see her reaction. so thought i'd do it again and she was shocked again then i said i won't joke about it again, now i'm held down by the fact that if i do it again i've been made to promise that i'll follow it through seriously and buy her a ring ect ect. so im not doin that for a while lol.
also she's coming with me and my parents an sis on holiday next year 2 weeks in egypt...all inclusive and me and laura having our own room so my family wont bug us.
i'm thinking of doing it seriously on the first weekend of the holiday, meaning we'd of been together a long time and that would leave the 2nd week of the holiday to celebrate
just booked my dates off for Xmas....all the week before xmas and all of xmas week off which will be a 356 hours of drinking and curing hangovers
So all the bad things that have happend this year will be awash with alcohol. parties and good ol fashioned love :thumb:

Mornin Black and Voddas, suprisingly enough i've spent from 9am till 11:30 piecing that together. my heads fine now...im just knackered now lol
Found a Metallica song i like (one of few i actually like from them) it's called the day that never comes. has a good video :thumb:

having block of 10 or so minutes where i kickstart and start going in all guns blazing....sadly it takes 20minutes to get to that 10

11731 don't get me wrong i'm not saying they are completely rubbish (while Duffy is) I mean they must of had some talent to get where they are today with a career as long as it is, just i can't get into the songs

Personally i don't like them...mate tried to get me into them but alas i found them boring....
and i was brought up on white snake, guns and roses, velvet revolver, some pink floyd and meatloaf lol
HATE DUFFY! everytime it comes on the radio i think to myself "nooooooo"
dunno if im the only one who feels this way..but i seriously hate people like her. and this exactly:
a band sing about sad things and are called emo....idiots like saun kingston can sing "suicidal suicidal when she says its over" and duffy can sing depressing and in some cases vulgar songs like "my morals got me on my knees" that says slut to me. and all the general muppetfaced people of the world hail them 'oh their brilliant, i love them blah blah blah'

a good song will have both good music and good lyrics.
for good lyrics there has to be a point behind it. telling a story, giving a message, making a statement, giving advice in situations or emotion...saddness, happiness, anger ect ect,
but they don't have any of that.

I dunno, enter sandman is a very good song and the lyrics are about monsters under your bed etc haha, but the song is actually really good (granted the only metallica song I like and master of puppets)

there are afew that might tell a story, but i was speaking generally in their case. their good at what they do....but lyrics are their handicap.
Offspring are funny and that disclaimer was true as it gets.
I like linkin park for the reason that their good at Nu metal and through their first 2 albums (not including collision course, reanimation and the underground albums) they made their mark. simply because their lyrics do atleast 4 of the thinks lyrics are supposed to do:
Tell a story
Make a statement
Give advice
Emotion
and the music they made to accompany those lyrics was brilliant.
sadly i don't really like the latest album but do listen to it still.
