Count to a Million

10219 at the moment i'm taking a break, with the application in i don't have to worry about the demo for a little while longer (I will have to present it at the interview stage though so i have two weeks at least to get the final features put in) so i'll just chill then watch the last ep of GaoGaiGar :p

10 220 - Just reading up on GaoGaiGar on ANN, and it seriously sounds like a Power Rangers thing. :p Then again, PR was great in its time (well apart from the "newer" series).

What's your view on it?

*an arm pops out of the pile of work flooding a desk*

*more work washes over and the arm disappears again*

*bubble of air comes out of the sea of work and upon popping lets out a sigh*

10223 well within the first 10 episodes you can see that the shows true purpose is to sell toys to kids :p but then again the show was funded like all the Brave Series by the guys who brought out the Transformer toys in japan. The plot isn't complex at all and almost everything is resolved by the end of an episode (with exceptions) For the first half of the series its very much "monster of the week" and if you can make it through the first 20 eps (the series is 49 eps long) then you'll make it through the series. Also thing i found funny was that there is three points in the series where they could of ended it and no one would be the wiser  The characters are quirky enough and likeable but they are pretty much cookie cutter for the genre.

Funniest thing i heard about the series was that it was apparently created the way it is to counter Evangelion which aired the year before :p

All in all i've enjoyed it, i've liked it better when it drops the monster of the week stuff and the 'final' battles they have, plus i'm a sucka for Mecha :p and because of this i'm going to look more into super robot shows after i've looked at patlabour and GaoGaiGar Final

10 224 - Nout wrong with mecha. I too watch Macross series, NGE, Code Geass and such. My bro finds them and I watch them with him. :)

Sounds ok, but like most day-time anime/cartoons, I may have only watched it for killing time. I have other priorities, i.e. Black Lagoon, Shuffle! (which would be finished now if the Artbox edition would get here!), Witchblade etc...

Then there's the manga... lol.

10225 too true :p i still blame the opening though for getting me hooked on it  though it's kind of strange that i'm just finishng up on GGG as Gundam 00 is starting up again :p

So you've been watching witchblade as well then? what do you make of it so far? (i've only managed to see up to the end of the third volume)

hey chaz, black.

im alright...under this stupid workload and expected to pick up another department because someones off ill....i wouldn't mind doing it, if someone had the courtesy to ask if i'd do it, not everyone just leave it and me being muggins pics it up or it'd be left to fall flat on its face, and when complaints start coming in they'd turn to me for not picking in up. so i might aswell see to it =/

i don't want to complain too much, but this whole department lacks an awful lot.

10 227 - Actually, WB is still on my DVD shelf. Been busy to watch all my anime, then there's other things to watch. I will try to watch it soon though.

I'm having my fun with my printer again... Damn thing.

That's it! I think I should crawl into some dark abyss and leave humanity alone. Everywhere I go, I seem to give bad luck to all. Now it's spreading through internet wires! lol.

10 231 - Hey there, Foxy.
Nah. It's the red ink that's not coming through. It has to be the printer, not the cartriges, as I've now used 2 of them (old and now a new one), and the results are the same. I've tried printing/cleaning it all to a good level, but I've no idea what's wrong.

I think the actual part that paints the red ink is either clogged up or damaged, as you can see lines of red where it works (slightly), but not on other lines.

@chaos - Home because of the cold... lucky! I have to go in all the time unless I'm spewing my guts out or hopping on one leg.

Ouch, that sounds really bad.... =(
Mind if I ask you what you do?
10 233 - Retail: T.J.Hudges. They can seriously be bitches if they wanted to be.

Argh! This whole Printer thing is driving me nutz!!! I've given up trying to sort it out, and I can get the images printed still (from Uni). It's just such an irratating (and possibly costly) annoyance! I could do this easy as pie otherwise.

10234 ah god seems like my drawing skills don't want to play today :(

@Chaos hope you feel better soon champ :)

@Chaz if you're uni is anything like mine was it shouldn't cost too much to get them printed out

Hey chaz, sorry to come in and sound like a complete ar$e...but if you have a look at the bottom of the acrtridge....there's a plastic cover that needs taking off before it'll let ink out...

hey all, yup my day could of gone alot better, but i have the happy thought of going home and playing LBP till my happiness is overwhelming and i either pass out...or die a happy death lol

10 238 Hiya Chaz I'm okay though a bit annoyed with up1 since when I ordered the Angelic Layer boxset it said immediate delivery and now I had a email from them saying I have to wait 7-10 days to get and I'm not sure if they are going to charge me the price I ordered it £24.50 or the new price they put on for it £35.50
