I had a Gensis shipped from America before they came out here :p

I then had to buy a Mega Drive anyway coz the Gensis deaded. Not it's own fault tho I mite add. It got stooded on ¬_¬

My AMIGA still (barely) works though! And my NES - I don't know about my PS1. It's in the loft somewhere.

And that was ayase's console history. It's been PC since then. I am sorely tempted by a PS3 (far more than I was last generation) but it's not practical for me to spend that kind of money on something I probably wouldn't get much use out of.

well at the moment the team consists of me (programmer) and my friend (artist, game designer) but then earlier this week we found out that one of our friends we worked with on the game development module last year would like to join us (he's an excellent programmer, really top rate) so our application started to shine, but now he's come back to us saying he'll only join the team if someone else was allowed to come on now we know the fourth guy all too well as he was in our group for Game development as well and he's another artist, now his skills are not in question but what is, is his attitude, and he's controlling, if its not his way he won't do it, he'll complain all day and night about stupid ideas but you say anything bad about his and he'll kill you (he also hates 2D games) in short his attitude stinks

Well all I can say is, Black, you've done well so far without the help of the other guy. Yeah, it'll make things easier but you gotta think what the pros and cons in the decision are. Is the pro guy so good that you could put up with the arsey guy, or is he that bad that you'll be better off carrying on as you are.
 
10,078 yep that's the guy -_- back in game development he actually went in a huff and refused to do any work on the game because the tutor said some nasty stuff, but yeah the programmer guy is good, he had people from black rock studios looking at his stuff, and some other companies as well i don't know my friend should be getting back in touch soon to see if a compromise can't be struck, i mean if we could have the guy without the attitude that would be great

EDIT: Yeah my friend isn't too happy about it either since we know all too well what he's like, which makes it baffling as to why the programmer is saying what he's saying since he was in the group with us
 
10,080 well my designer friend (the one i was originally set to do this with) isn't keen on having the jerk involved but its an akward decision as he can't mess anything up on the fellowship as the idea is pretty much set in stone, its just having the extra programmer would be greatly appericaited and it turns out he feels obligated to try and get jerk into the team since he apparently promised him work in a different deal (not too sure on this) but me and my friend are still a loss as to why he would want to work with him in the first place, sure he's got skills but he would have a real hard time in industy
