Heh, funny stuff...

I do wonder as to whether that helped, or did not help, the views of anime to people who watched that show. Probably just added to the thinking of 'cartoon porn'. *sigh*
 
Heh, well of course. The only people who do these 'look into anime' things are comedians. Really it's an easy laugh.

Where'd you get that from? From what I saw, they were having fun with it. Besides, it's not as if anime is the only thing to get lightly mocked in these segments.

Anime fans are far too sensitive when it comes to these things.
 
I thought it was quite funny. I would like to have heard them dub Gurren Lagann though. They kind of had the voices for Kamina.

Even as an anime fan, I'm sure I would at least mention something about the bobble boobs. :)
 
Found it quite funny myself :D

Quite like how they re-dubbed that scene from ghost in the shell at the end.

With how niche anime industry is it's great to see some mainstream coverage as looking into in it the The Tonight Show gets averagely 2.8 millions viewers. So there should be at least modest increase in sales from that TV spot for ghost in the shell and Manga products.

It remind me of the time when anime fan Jonathan Ross was interviewing Samuel L Jackson on his show. At the time about the time Afro Samurai was about to be released in the UK, Did they mentioned it once?, did they heck. Instead they talked about movie that where released ages ago and about hats, frankly digusting how long would it taken for one clip and mention.
 
Didn't expect much, but it was pretty awesome. "Bang and Zoom, it was only a matter of time before these two companies merged." I <3 Bang Zoom.
