I blindly buy anything Alan Moore / Neil Gaiman. I really liked the punisher by Garth Ennis, and I also like Will Eisner. I wanted to collect The spirit from him.

We have similar tastes there chaos. Ever read any Warren Ellis stuff? I love just about everything he's done.

Nope, I didn't.... yet ;D I've been hearing his name for quite some time now...

I also remembered that I liked Fables in the exile very much. read V1 to 3 and was really good. Have to read the rest though...

Ultimate Spider-man is one of my favourite series with ease. I would read the 616 stuff, but too much backstory, which makes the ultimate stuff awesome for me.

On the same level, I wouldn't mind reading All-Star Superman from DC.

A-men brother! lol

You up to date with USM?

I used to read Ultimate X-Men but it went really downhill, apparently the Heroes writer who has taken it over recently has shown major improvement.

I got in to the Ultimate series for the exact same reason lol, too much back story in 616 plus i like the idea of modernisation and the Ultimate series has done that so well.

What you think to the upcoming series Ultimatum? apparently only USM is certain to continue afterwards. :(

I'm unfortunatly not up to date with USM. I'm currently acquiring a lot of stuff to help catch up, but only have up to vol 4 in hardback as a physical copy.

I'm currently buying Ultimate Origins at the moment ready for the big crossover.

Just wondered what everyones fave comics and graphic novel from the western world are?
I'm a big fan of Jhonen Vasquez and Roman Dirge and own pretty much all their work. I still collect their new stuff.
I used to collect a lot of couple of years back but then i suddenly stopped. At one point i was getting pretty much everything IDW released and all the Countdown to Infinite Crisis stuff by DC.

Now i still get the occaisional comics or graphic novels. Still stuff from SLG and i'm trying to read stuff by Alan Moore. League of Extraordinary Gentlemens a favourite.
I also like Batman [not just 'cause of the new film]~ Batman: Jekyll and Hyde was really good and i've got Gotham by Gaslight still to read.

Oh and Ben Templesmith; love his art. And Steve Niles. Obviosuly i first knew them from 30 Days of Night [Return to the Barrow 1 being the first comic i ever bourght]. Both their work still interests me though.

I love Roman Dirge work as well. I've got the three first Lenore books and a few of the "children" books he wrote as well.

Sort of in a nostalgic mood after remembering about it, I bought Judgement on Gotham the Batman Judge Dredd cross over. Just love the scene where the Scarcrow sprays Judge Death with his fear spray.
