Here is a college project im currently working on. Its my final project and ive chosen band cover design and heres one of my designs nearly finished.
Just got to:
Add text (Band name and title)
Sort planets out (I dont like them, they dont blend in well)



Any constructive critism or advice welcome. 8D

PS. Some of you will reconize my main influence from this design.
 
If the moon is designed to be a reflection of the sun then the two need to be lined up more as the sun is hidden in the corners whereas the moon has a more prominent position.

The colours are a brilliant choice I especially like the night scene with the wisps of cloud being illuminated by the moon
 
Good idea and choice of colours for the first one! If I would change something, I'd move the moon in line with the sun, take the planets away, take the cloud away, copy and paste a single ray for each of the sun's rays and maybe make the foreground a bit more three-dimensional (ie a bit of perspective).

Apologies if it sounds like critiscm - it is a good design!
