Just recently i bought the Chrono crusade boxset and just finished the first disc this afternoon. It was good, nothing great but it kept me entertained for a while. Although im not blown away by it. The characters were cliché. Rosette is the noisy main character, Chrono is the one who follows the main character and Azmaria is the clutsy shy girl who blushes all the time. Geez where have i seen these characters before?(points at Shadow skill the series).

I just wanted to know if the show gets better or not. Because even though i thought the first disc was good, im not fussed with seeing the rest of the show.
 
When I watched the first disc last year, I was underwhelmed compared to the anime fan I was in my early teens when I first saw and enjoyed it. However, I feel it DID get better as it went on.

Imo, it was pretty 'meh' stuff throughout. I am trying hard to remember the ending, but it was obviously so dull or generic that I can't, lol.

Awwww crap....I just remembered what happened RIGHT at the end....Did not need to recall that... :/

I went with 7/10 at the time according to MAL. Nothing special, awful ending. :p

This was one of those shows I went into thinking it was gonna be great. I really shouldn't do that, as they always disappoint.

I like the whole C. Crusade but ... umm... it's y'know, a grim story, so I didn't watch it twice. But definitely full of sfx and great tunes, give it all a go, but get the series for a good price.
 
Watched Chrono Crusade late last year, worth getting all the way through it. Although it did get quite depressing.
 
I really like CC, i have both the complete series and the Manga series too. Though not in my top 10 I still really enjoyed the series and as said the series does get better as it goes along.

What i find really interesting though is the whole Anime series being "religious" and the Manga being "agnostic" about the whole plot!
 
Not a particularly great series. Nothing much intensely dislikable, but not much standout either. The ending is a little moving though, which is something.
