It's almost the same with me - except I got my books at Borders. I can't remember for the life of me, which volume it was... 4 maybe? It's the one where Yuki walks Toru home after work and Yuki admits he's only nice to people because he wants them to like him.

Also, in volume 13, who do you think that mysterious man inside the Sohma main house is - the one Kureno spoke to? My conspiracy theory is that the Cat is not really dead at all. (Thats what i love about Furuba - soon as one mystery closes, another one pops out of nowhere.)

And what's the deal with Shigure? I'm starting to think Akito isn't the real baddie in the family.

I thought the ending over and over in my head, I ending up thinking something like this will happen, I think that Shigure will Take on Akito for the possion of 'god'. However he will fail. I also think that Kyo and Yuki will end up having a fight, but rather then fighting his best Yuki lets Kyo win. That would be the first stage of rebellion against Akito.

Later I think something between Tohru and Shigure will happen which ends in her doing what she thinks is lifting the curse, However what she does is brings the curse appon herself, leaving the only option for there freedom is for Tohru too die. Rather then letting her die They decided to live on with the curse.

I belive in the end all the members of the Zodic will have to remain cursed except Kyo, because Yuki showed Kindness to the Cat the curse and the Cats vengence was ended. I also belive all of the members of the Zodiac will live at the Main house. But no one will know what happend to Akito nor Shigure.

It's quite a random conclusion, but it all seems to fit with the characters personality and story in some way.

I will be very sad to see the end of Furuba, but i'm looking forward to the ending ^^ It's is deffinatly a Manga that will always be loved by people ^^

That's not really hard, Goku could you just blow Ichigo away with some crappy power blast thing, or Ichigo wouldn't be seen because he's like... a Shinigami, or if he could be seen and had time, he could use Ban-Kai and speed around and crap, then just start cutting Goku, unless it's end of Z Goku... then Goku wins by default, and I don't think I need reasons for those of you who's seen Z.

Nice of you to join the debate! I actually really like your suggestion about Yuki and given how he changes in the latest volumes, I can actually see this happening. It's an interesting twist on an earleir suggestion in this thread. Your second suggestion, I never thought of that at all, but come to think of it Akito had said that that was the way they have lived and will live, never changing. I think it would be sad if that happened, but Toru wont stop trying...
