Cardcaptor Sakura - uncut dub

I know what ya mean dude. I wouldn't mind collecting xxxHolic now that i've got into Tsuabasa... and that'll lead into practically the complete of work of CLAMP considering the way that all crosses over.

i wudnt even attempt to get into tsubasa becus i wud end up have to collect all the series it crossover with then all the mangas and by the end of it i wud just be bankrupt... i'm totally ocd when it comes to having a "collection" so i to be carefull with what i watch lol

I don't think it'd be that bad with Tsubasa. I'm a bit OCD with series as well, but since in Tsubasa, the characters aren't actually in the world they exist in in their series, its easy to follow without having to go back and read the manga they're originally from. It's a good series though, really if you were having to deal with crossovers, all you'd have to get would be xxxHolic and Tsubasa, because those are the two which crossover in the same universe. If that even makes any sense...

Definitely agreed on the Tsubasa thing. The anime is awful. I actually watched most of the first season as I just kept praying it would get better, but after the crossover with Sei-chan, a character from Tokyo Babylon and X, I gave up completely.

Changes? Basically made it suitable for a kiddy audience and did alter quite a few personalities as well. And the animation is horrible, but then I've never seen anything well animated from Bee Train. And, yeah, apparently CLAMP were not pleased in the slightest and they are a large part of the reason it was cancelled.

So stick to the manga and the new OAVs as Production I.G. = God! Only thing that could have made it better would have been Mad House animating them, as they have so many CLAMP adaptions, such as Cardcaptor Sakura (by far the best of all the CLAMP adaptions).

Bee Train DID NOT animate it. It was Madhouse, and it was back in 1998. The animation was good for its time. Damn, do some research before you type. Did you even watch the thing?

We were talking about Tsubasa, certainly not Cardcaptor Sakura. If you read the post, you'll see I said the following:

"Only thing that could have made it better would have been Mad House animating them, as they have so many CLAMP adaptions, such as Cardcaptor Sakura (by far the best of all the CLAMP adaptions)."

So, read my post before telling me to do some damn research. Anything I've said about Carcaptor Sakura and, by extension, Mad House, has been sing their praises. I own all the R1 DVDs and have watched it twice, which is saying something for 70 episodes and two movies.

cardcaptor sakura is definitely the best from CLAMP I agree. I've seen it several times already, at least twice on TV (we didn't have that abnormality called cardcaptors back home) and once in the DVD's I've got.

It's not really difficult to find, it's just absurdly expensive. half an year ago, there was a guy selling the whole series for 99quid. considering it's selling for 800 / 1000 dollars now, I'd say it was agreat deal.
