Synopsis

Written by Yumi Unita, Bunny Drop is a josei manga series that tells the story of a thirty-year-old bachelor and office worker named Daikichi who returns to his family home following the death of his grandfather. Whilst attending the funeral he discovers a six-year-old girl named Rin in the garden and soon discovers that she is his grandfather’s illegitimate daughter and quite the social scandal. Objecting to his relatives’ suggestion that Rin should be placed in care, Daikichi finds himself taking care of her despite his inexperience with children. He does his best to raise Rin and develops a father daughter relationship with her.

The roles have been cast for the anime version and the person portraying Daikichi will be Hiroshi Tsuchida (The Skull Man, Honey and Clover), whilst the role of Rin will be played by Ayu Matsuura (The Bear’s School).

The live action film stars Ken’ichi Matsuyama (Gantz, Norwegian Wood and Bright Future) and is being handled by cult director Sabu (Unlucky Monkey – director, Ichi the Killer - Actor).

Cant wait till the anime comes out, hopefully there'll be a trailer for it soon. The anime had better live up to the manga, read the first there volumes of it and its brilliant.
