So very similar to K-On (also a 4-koma), the difference being in how it was then adapted by the studios/directors making the anime. KyoAni/Naoko Yamada were pretty straight with there's and CloverWorks/Keiichirou Saitou added a lot more in.

Yeah absolutely. It was been a while since I've read K-ON! so I didn't want to make the comparison in the review, but you're completely right. And actually interestingly both series originate from a Manga Time Kirara (with Bocchi being in Max rather than the regular magazine), so they share that as well!
