Bleach after the Rescue arc

Wow, I'm just surprised by the mass response of people who generally dislike Bleach after the Soul society arc. Some pretty harsh comments.

However, someone must like it if it's still going past the 200 mark.

I guess I'm gonna have to wait and see.

I'd say keep watching it. The filler can be horrible (Bount) but the Arrancar Arc and the current stuff is decent. (Arrancar > Current though lol)

From what I've seen of the Arrancar arc in the manga I'll probably enjoy it.

I've peeped over my girl's shoulder as she's watching the current stuff.........there's hardly any sign of Ichigo or any of the original cast. That worries me slightly.

If you intend to see for yourself anyway, why ask for he opinions of others? That wasn't the most bright way of doing things. I believe you should see for yourself - that's the best way - but you've wasted others time by asking for opinions you didn't truly care for.

I wouldn't say I've wasted people's times. I've been interested to see what people think. Besides, I'd like to know what I'm letting myself in for without revealing the story arcs too much. If anything, the resounding negative response it has received has intrigued me. I was unsure about watching it before now I want to see if it really is that bad.

Jesus, you act like I committed a crime or something. Chill out bud!

No-one ever dies in Bleach, bad guys aside, so there's little to spoil. The good guys fight bad guys, the good guys win because they're good - the end.

I'm not (yet) suggesting you should be banned for wasting my time, but I can't help but view the thread as pointless when you asked if you should continue after the third box set, got told not to and then decided to do so anyway.

...but, whatever, if asking questions you care not for the answer of is your thing, power to you.

Well you could say that about many an anime series, it just depends how they do it along the way.

Banned? What makes you so holier than thou? As I said, now I wanna see more than ever if it really is as bad as people say.

Amen to that brother and you can stop wasting your precious time now.

No one in Bleach dies because like Kenshiro would say" They're already dead."

Yuvie seems to be REALLY unsure, I'd say either just drop it or take a peak at what to expect from future arcs, it's not masterpiece, so spoilers won't be a problem, man.

Also, don't let Aion get to you, he's just angsty and needs to take out his anger on someone that Bleach DVDs are still going for £20 on Amazon and should at least drop £5.67 in exact price before he will pay.

So, if people had been positive, you would've avoided it because it's good? I'll have to remember that reverse psychology is the way to go with you, then.

In a number of shounen titles, main characters are rarely killed off because of fears that it'd be too much for all the youngsters watching. It gets tiresome after awhile, when you know that only bad people will be killed. Naruto is very similar in this regard, though SOME good guys do die in the Naruto story - mostly just discardable older characters who've served their purpose.

As for your upcoming ban, I have a spiritual connection with Chaos that goes above and beyond the relations of most internet users. If I so wished, I could get him to give you a lifetime IP ban, as well as offering to give you free movie tickets in person.

I never expected such a huge sway to one side, whether positive or negative, it tweaks interest in me. I'm not a big fan of neutral. That really would have left me utterly unsure about Bleach and myself in general.

As for internet threats, come on man. It's only a message board. Let's not resort to threats. What's the point of that?

As you said, you can stop wasting your time now.

Honestly I'm only really stopping with the anime after series 3 because I know how long it's going to go on for.
I can't really say if it's going to get better or worse or not.
Might still get them when they're dirt cheap, though.

This is your first encounter with Aion, after much lurking and reading of his posts (If you ever even bother) you'll realize that to him internet = serious business.

As for the topic... I don't even know where to go or what to say anymore, Bleach's quality drops more and more as you go along, the cast gets bigger and bigger too, but you will eventually see some of your favourites again at some point, I promise you that.

Being nice to everyone equally, despite the differing views a person has regarding each individual, is the action of someone who cares too much about the eyes of others. People aren't equal. If someone does something that doesn't seem logical, I see no reason not to question him/her about the action in question.

Chaos will be contacting you soon about your upcoming ban. Wasting the time of a respected member such as myself is considered a grave offense in the eyes of Big Man.

I can get the set for £17, Lupus, so it's actually £2. How long it takes for that £2 to be taken off the price, only God knows.

Hey, you don't have to be nice to anyone but I was brought up to at least show respect to everyone. Depends how you define what equal or not equal is in people. Keep questioning if you like, we can dance around in a circle.

Hey, if you don't like me that's okay. I'm not gonna cry about it. Seems to me that you're sulking so much so that you have to run to your mod buddy.

Back on topic, I think we've just gone too far away from it now that there's no turning back. Oh how I wish to discuss Bleach but now I'm too worried to because someone thinks it's a waste of everyone's time. Oh man, what have I done? Sorry guys for wasting your time.

You haven't wasted anyones time, you just fell for Aion's ********, he's the bane of all new members, as I am the bane of all old members.

Just carry on. Chaos won't do anything.

Okay, well, looking into some of the future arcs...

The whole Bount storyline doesn't seem too bad for a filler.

The Arrancar storyline looks fairly interesting.

The new captain arc, the name alone sounds a bit dodgy.

I have no clue about the hueco mundo or any of the recent seasons.

Anyway, I'm as much a fan of a decent storyline as the next man but sometimes (judging from Aion's assessment of Bleach) it's kinda fun to watch a classic good versus bad, drawn out DBZ style battle. I guess it's okay in small doses. I'll not make the same mistake with Bleach as I did with Fist of the north star if I do decide to keep watching it after series 3. With FOTNS, I pretty much watched it from start to finish and I fell asleep several times in-between.
