The lawsuit idea is me over-reacting. I shouldn't post this late at night, when I clearly can't think straight when I'm this tired. Apologies for that.

Mike Towers is not the expo organizer, AFAIK, he's been banned from Expo for promoting a rival event at an Expo. He is a controversial figure in the fandom and unfortunately, there are too many scary rumours around him and a few people I know and trust have seen less than noble things done by him, that would support these rumours.

As I'm getting the facts clearer, it seems little can be done with regards to Daily Star, but Expo should at least officially apologize for inviting them to the show, when so many people demonstrate their concerns with it. Expo should at least side with their customers and complain to Daily Star for their article.

There have been talks about boycotting Expo if they don't apologize, which is the most feasible of the actions, although I wonder how realistic that is...
 
People with intelligence don't read the Daily Star, and those that do are only there for the wankskanks, so who cares? But the Expo people have shot themselves in the foot with their response to this. Too bad they have to stick that same bloody foot in their mouths now. :roll:
 
well, things being as they are, there's nothing to see here. It's a shame they have such poor customer service though. Boycot the expo, I'd say! =P
