Best game based on anime

I don't think that's based on an anime, though. It's a huge multimedia series and was always planned that way, right? The first game came out around the same time as the first anime, too.

not sure actually, but it's definatly around the same time, the anime came out 2 months before the game, but i'm sure the game would of took longer to develop
 
Theres quite a few I like.

First one is damn awesome and is Japan only but if you are able to play Japanese games on your Gamecube (or Wii)/PS2 and you if like Dragonball, One Piece or Naruto then its well worth it. Of course its a fighting game.

Of course I am talking about Battle Stadium D.O.N.

Shoen Jump Ultimate Stars
DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (Wii version - I haven't played number so I don't know if its any good!)
Naruto: Rise of a ninja (I would only recommend to fans of the series though)
