If it was a license rescue, it would more likely be Eva.

Btw, notice the "A lot of people have been asking about"

...hmm.
Hence us all sugesting Gundam titles.

It's likely that, Gurren Laggan Movies or Big O.
We do also know it's not a rescue.
It could be Patlabor, that would be epic, or Macross. They're both Bandai related and have never had UK release.

TTGL Movies are a possibility, did they do that well in the US? I remember they're sub only.

What makes you think it isn't a rescue?

Didn't they say it's an older series? Oh wait, I believe I'm thinking of MVM's mystery new title. But I suspect Gundam. Gurren Lagann movies... I saw 1, didn't really like it. I think directors cut movies of series tend to be pretty poor, like Death Note Rewrite. Rebuild of Evangelion is different because it's not a summary, except the first movie kinda is, but the rest is new/ amalgamation of new and old around a new story with new animation etc.

Getting confused with the MVM one  , yeah it could still be something like Eva, that needs a UK re-release desperately, unlike in the USA where there's still tons of stock lying around.

TTGL movies were a store exclusive, and an Aniplex USA release.
Still assuming Gundam, they should get pleanty of nagging about them.

As far as shows peopel have asked about...

I'd LOVE it if it WAS either Patlabor or Evangelion. Though I suspect that both shows would come as something of a disappointment at first to those who haven't seen them and been subjected to tales of their divine greatness.

Patlabor OVAs would be a NICE move, methinks. And Evengelion might be a smart move, considering the Rebuild movies are generating new interest in the show.

But, my money's still on Big O II. Give me that or Turn A Gundam, and I'll be a very happy mecha nut.

Nah, this one is an older series, too.

I'd prefer Manga to rescue Eva if they still have the Death and Rebirth & End of Eva movies, so they can do them in a huge boxset.

The current US Boxset are something rediculous like, $80, though.

It's funny, though. New licenses are so rare, when two of them appear, we get them mixed up

Manga lost the Eva movie rights back in 2006 or something, they never renew anything, and I assume they were super expensive.

Turn A is my bet. If not, some other Gundam title. Can't remember 'a lot' of people asking for anything else.

If it was Patlabor OVAs, my panties would be wet for at least 24 hours.

It's about time they responded to my request for Blue Comet Layzner! :p

I'd be happy with Turn A though.
