Batman: Arkham City

Well Sparrowsabre, Mark Hamil said this would be the last time he'd be voicing the joker so I think if there were a third game it would be missing his presence anyway. I'm not saying you need him there but after two games it'd be a bit strange not including him for any additional entries.

That actually was a miss-interpretation. He even clarified it as such on his twitter, i'm just trying to find the tweet in question. He never said he wouldn't do joker anymore, more it was to do with the size of the role he played for arkham asylum he was referring to. He wouldn't do as big or as hefty a role? i'll find out. COuld mean joker hasn't got as big a presence this time round(seems kinda obvious though)

Looks pretty cool *awesomeface*

Seriously though, Maurice LaMarche has nailed the voice, with the helmet down it sounds really badass.

I also did a very silly thing. I watched Batman Begins, Gotham Knight and TDK as well as re-reading Hush and playing through Arkham Asylum...now I am overhyped for City and TDKR and my hype will no doubt peak middle of next month now =P

Indeed I thought freeze was the same voice actor from the 90's since he sounds a little like Christopher Lloyd (who I thought would've made a perfect live action freeze or clock king.) But I've just looked it up and Michael Ansara and Clancy Brown (who I only knew as the Kurgan in highlander and Lex Luthor in Superman TAS) voiced him in those. It's nice to see Fries getting back to a more serious tone after 1997's effort.

So rocksteady have decided that, getting with Nvidia and maingear to release this spectacle of a PC collectors edition isn't quite enough of a promotion campaign:

Instead, they've teamed up with microsoft and decided, why note let alfred help you out, and made a search engine: http://alfredatyourservice.co.uk/

i expect it's probably just bing rehashed, but it still looks nicer.

Hnnnnnnnngh. The one time Play doesn't post my game early. The wait until wednesday was bad enough but now I have towait til Friday!? T__________T

Mine actually arrived a day early on the thursday, but it went to the sorting office and I didn't pick it up until saturday, and subesequently didn't start playing until sunday.

I'm liking it so far, it's Asylum, but bigger with more stuff to do, really like how they've expanded on the Riddler in this, I've been trying to do as much other stuff as possible and delay following the story. Except in parts you need to progress the story to get *yay* gadget, which is required for doing certain trophies and puzzles.

I do love the new gadgets. It took me a while to realise the gel was the upgraded gel from AA though :p (as in you can zoom in to single out a particular gel to explode)

NIGHTWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING

NIGHTWIIIIIIIIING (is out and I have him)

He's pretty fun to play as, kinda Daredevil-y. using escrima sticks with electric tips. His style's more street fighting than Batman or Catwoman but fits somewhere between the two in terms of speed and power. He has some neat gadgets too like FPS-aimed wrist darts and an electro shockwave pounce move. I also love his pre-challenge animations. He looks so damn cocky :p
