Autumn Streaming Preview 2018

While nothing has jumped out at me as an Anime of the Year contender quite yet, this is a much stronger and more interesting season than Summer was. Even the more generic stuff ala Merc Storia and Radiant I'm still having a fun with and have a hook that is keeping me engaged.

At the moment, I have 21 shows I'm following and none of them are really on the edge of being dropped, so the average this season is pretty darn high.
 
I love everyone is slating summer when my only close to AOTY is a summer/ fall show. Hopefully Tsurune is good though looking forward to that later

Each season has been great for me so far this year and this looks to be a promising season with another 13 shows on my watchlist.

@Lambadelta: When we put together these previews, the content is based on our first impressions. But it would be really interesting to know whether anything we've mentioned about any of the series we've chosen might have encouraged you to give that series a second chance? (No pressure, of course.)
 
Now I've got nothing to compare to because this year is the first full year I've been watching seasonal, but winter was great and whilst not as good the other 2 seasons have had some really good shows. Here's what I've watched that rated quite highly:

Winter:
  • A Place Further Than the Universe
  • Yuru Camp
  • After the Rain
  • Mitsuboshi Colors
  • Violet Evergarden
  • Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san
Spring:
  • Hinamatsuri
  • Uma Masume
  • Hisone and Masotan
  • Golden Kamuy
  • Megalo Box
  • WotaKoi
Summer:
  • Harukana Receive
  • Grand Blue Dreaming
  • Banana Fish
  • Cells at Work
  • Chio's School Road
  • Revue Starlight
And so far in Autumn:
  • Bloom into You
  • IRODUKU
  • ZOMBIE LAND SAGA
  • And Rascal/Bunny-senpai is getting good reviews (will pick this up)
Lots of Comedy and/or SOL elements in these, so if not your bag then you might disagree.

I know SAO is a s3 but 3 (4 if count the double length as 2) eps is very different from before and vastly superior so far
