Aniplex USA Licenses Madoka Magica and Blue Exorcist

At it's anime expo panel, Aniplex USA announced that it has got the home video rights for Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Blue Exorcist.

This news has really made my day, since I really like both series, particulary Madoka Magica ^_^
 
Also good news, and two more I will be buying :) the more niche (in the US) companies are going to upstage the big guys at this rate.

Aniplex are big guys in the USA, they only just started publishing themselves not through licensors (mostly FUNimation).

Now if they start holding their titles to themselves (like Geneon USA did, or Viz does for manga, or Manga does here for FUNimation and Viz licences) in the future things could get interesting.

Their only releases so far have been the Gurren Laggan movies and Durarara.
All the others were just imports of the Japanese sets. Maybe with translated booklets. Only KnK has been full Japanese price,Kenshin will be, the others were much better value.
 
Of course i'm extremely pleased that Madoka Magica got licensed, hopefully a dub and a BD version will be announced with it:
