Animefreak17 And His All-Purpose General Chat Thread

Ok ok fine I'l try.

I have this issue on how people push there beliefs on me and everyone else and what I should do and believe,
And let me tell you it's a big issue for me.
I don't like it when people say how I should live my life and what to do and what to believe in, it's a really really really big issue for me

E.g
I have this lesbian friend of mine, well friend of the family's and she's very very nice and lovable but there are these people who say that homosexuality is wrong and they should be put to death. And I asked why and they said because my religion says so, and I said so you let some religion control your life and and decide what you should do with your life.

I have issues I know but I can't stand people who let's them selfs be taken in by a belief system and can't think for them selfs on what's right and wrong this is my biggest issue and its taken a old of me.............. There I go again, yeah I should work on this.

I should get some help, thanks for the chat guys

Oh, if someone else makes it personal first or tries to force you to conform to their beliefs then by all means I think you're justified in ripping into them for everything they're worth. Not sure how they'd use force via the internet though. And can you see how if you say you agree with Light that criminals should be put to death, that could be as emotive for some people as someone telling you they think homosexuals should be put to death? Perhaps they have a friend who's in prison for a petty crime, perhaps even unjustly convicted. Perhaps somebody they love even did commit a terrible crime but that didn't stop them from caring about them.

This is what I mean about not taking stuff personally. If nobody took anything personally then no-one would get so upset about other people's opinions, a lot of people only consider their own feelings. The best way is probably to consider everybody's but I guess I'm kind of the other extreme, considering nobody's feelings because perhaps I feel as though they should all be as emotionally tough as I am, leaving them angry or upset and refusing to apologise for what I see as their weaknesses, hoping that will teach them to toughen up. One of the reasons I get on with so few women, I think. We've probably all got something to learn.

Yeah I guess so.
I'l just come out and say it, I agree with lights ideals to an extent but the really reason why I'm supporting light is because the ending and second season left a bad taste in my mouth I didn't like the ending in the manga or anime. I didn't like how he was acting at the end like a wipering lil bitch and how he got shot and how he lost his dignity in the process. The light I liked out smarted people and tried to do the right thing with the death note and was clever but got corrupted and had a god complex. Yeah he was a basterd for killing a few likeable charecters I liked but it all ended with near. He is no L and was in it for like 11 episodes. I couldn't get in to him he didn't have any character development, he was like L and nothing else.

Don't get me wrong I liked the first 25 eps but the rest just didn't fit right with me and after it finished i got all flustered and angry on how it ended I started to started to accept lights ideals was the right choice that's why I choose to take lights side, I didnt relies this til just now, I guess my negativity on the second season and ending took it's toll on me,

You know

AF - about Light being right / wrong. No one should be judge, jury and executioner.

Light is both that and a murderer, because he didn't only kill criminals. He killed Raye Penber and Naomi Misori who were innocents, and the list on innocents he killed doesn't stop there.

Death Penalty is a complicated matter.

yeah i hated him for killing Raye Penber and Naomi Misori.

actually if light didn't kill Raye Penber and Naomi Misori i think it might of been less suspicions about him being kira now that i think about it.

Raye Penber was following him and if light was just acting like he wasn't doing anything wrong and then Raye Penber would just give in the report of saying light isn't suspicious and maybe Raye Penber and Naomi Misori would of lived.

you have to admire him for making crime rates go down and stopping wars tho.

There "was" little gang violence in Brazil (where I come from) during the dictatorship. Most people prefer the violence over going back to be a dictatorship. Take your own conclusions.

................then what about the people who don't want the violence and just want to live peacefully?

Wait?!............your from brazil.

When I think brazil I think sexy lady's ^_^

Trust me, the "peace" was out of fear that was spread across the board. The alternative is better.

And yes, I'm Brazilian.

Yay we have a brazilian for a leader
*What About the weak who didn't want the violence and lived in fear of the violence*

By the way if you don't mind me asking what sort of stuff did the dictator do anyways.

Indeed. He once informed me that the Brazilians consume a soft drink made from stimulating red berries native to their continent.

We all know this is pure fabricated fantasy, of course.
