Anime UK News Previews Spring 2013 Anime Season

Wow that's ugly. I'm still going to check it out though, as the manga both fascinates and repulses me in such a way that I can't stop reading it. I'm fairly sure I remember reading somewhere that it was going to be rotoscoped.

I think all of it is rotoscoped to be honest.

I've read a lot into this Flowers Of Evil episode and found out that the mangka accepted this kind of animation, now that I know this, I accept it, I have yet to watch it myself (Since Crunchyroll will be streaming it today).

I think saying "it's a total fail" was wrong of me but that's more of the response from the Japanese Otaku that are over-reacting because they thought the character designs would be more closer to the manga, thus, the sales will look weak.

I trust Hiroshi Nagahama and it will be interesting as the series progresses, i'm going to be watching it all, even if all of it will be rotoscoped.

I would imagine the sales of Aku No Hana will be terrible because nobody is going to want to pay JP BD prices for something which looks like a cheap drama series with gloopy faces and an absence of star actors ^^;

I'm sort of looking forward to seeing it too tonight. It might be fine with prior knowledge of the shock that all of the Japanese-based and illegal viewers suffered from...

Pretty much the only two I've dropped are Flowers of Evil (if I wanted reality about people being awful done in a realistic style I'd watch Eastenders) and Date a Live (There's a good show in here but it's drowned out in noise and I'm not picking out the gold from the ****).
