Anime PSDs

Does anyone know where I can get hold of some anime PSD's at all? I take it that the websites that supply them are legal! If not then forget I asked! But please tell me if it is!
 
I've only heard the term used as a Photoshop file extension, which doesn't make much sense in context either :s

oh sorry for the late reply but I refer to a PSD as file on photoshop which has a clear background - basically it appears as if it has none! I don't know if this is the proper term for one but that's what my friend calls them (he's a photoshop wizard). Basically its like anime images but they are completely cutout and can be used in imaging work much easier than manually cutting the images on photoshop.

It is also a term used for photoshop files which have been made for forum signatures or original images which have been made on photoshop

You are right it is the file extension for photoshop which is why images like I have mentioned are often referred to as PSDs

the only website I know is http://www.psdprotocol.com/ where you can download them but it is limited!

but don't worry too much as my friend can help me cut out certain images but as I'm a beginner it would be easier to use PSD's (my definition)

It's just a pre-cut photo, like anyone can do from any photo (bands, actors, athletes, people's mother)...nothing at all to do with cels or digital film or whatever.

I'm afraid to say that Aaron is right - it is basically cut out images done in photoshop
 
Its what people use for signature wall papers ect. Renders I call them :)
But yea animerender.com is good and also Planetrenders.net is a place I use to get my stuff for signatures.

Hope this is what you mean o_O
