UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

Requiem For Vengeance arrived.

I'm not sure why Bandai Namco think it's fair to offer an import release and not even maintain a standard of English alt text at least in the booklet. The sole English text is a one paragraph eulogy for the deceased composer which makes it even more awkward.
Could be worse, could be the 4K release of Chars Counterattack they're getting in the US from P Bandai with no English subtitles or dub.

Currently locking in my MCM schedule and I'll be honest, not sure I'll be covering the announcement panel. It's right now basically the only Sunday thing on the schedule for me and the announcements get posted swiftly anyway. So that leaves me travelling to London for a 45 minute panel to document the Q&A. And I'm not sure the public needs to lnow "Someone shouted at Andy, asking why their One Piece releases are so slow. AL don't handle One Piece."

Great! Missed Sakamoto Days because AL it seems can't be arsed to release a newswire telling us what Early Birds are coming each week. & as a result, I can't group items together to save on costs (I've never heard of City but would have ordered it with Sakamoto Days as it sounds interesting) because as I've said before, I'm NOT paying £3.50 postage per item.

I see that all the listings now finally seem to be up for SLA next month and lo and behold there are London screenings too to address my fomo of never being able to travel to Scotland during SLA.

Now, whilst I plan my unlikely grand escape from work and family to be able to attend A Silent Voice on Thursday, I just need to research the newer stuff to see what is most likely to appeal to me for the weekend showings.

I am still waiting for the day a Physical Release of Re:Creators might be announced someday. It has been what now 10 years since it aired? You would think the streaming rights would be expired now so maybe Amazon can finally let it go and release a physical version. It seems unlikely more than ever now tough.
