I could last until September in a vacuum. But American's have already started aggressively spoiling this. And the fanboy part of me looks at the more arthouse stuff on the AL theatrical slate and thinks "You really couldn't have given one of these spaces to the big franchise movie UK fans now have to spend 4 months trying in vain to avoid spoilers for?"

I really don't want to sound petulant about this, it doesn't make me happy in the least but...at the same event where we learn the UK apparently likes Gundam well enough to get a permanent retail location, the fiction once again gets a non committal future date. There's literally a section for the film at Bandai's booth!
Hanners made this entirely sincere remark about understanding UK fans frustrations (a lesser man would have put me sat in the 4th row on blast). But as is, once again the fiction side of Gundam gets kicked down the road.

How do you keep up to date about anime cinema releases in the Netherlands

My main source for the larger cinema chains is the Film Depot release list that is updated every Thursday https://www.filmdepot.nl/download/releaselijstHow do you keep up to date about anime cinema releases in the Netherlands
Some releases like GQuuuuuuX don't appear on the list, so you also have to frequently check the release schedules of cinemas. Some smaller arthouse cinemas like LAB111 regularly have anime in their programming. Then there also various festival such as Kaboom Animation Festival, Imagine Film Festival, IFFR, Camera Japan. Kaboom Animation Festival also organizes anime screenings throughout the year in smaller arthouse cinemas across the country.
Distributors currently active on the anime market: Sony/CR via Universal Pictures, Piece of Magic Entertainment (POM Anime), Paradiso Films and the French distributor Apollo Films (CGR Events, ADN Animation Digital Network). Periscoop Film seems to be exiting the anime market as they have not released any anime since Totto-chan last summer. There was supposed to be a release of Hunter x Hunter The Last Mission in November last year that got canceled.

The panel itself was ok. As I expected they opened it with 'Boy with Gundam', the recent road to the 50th short about an OG Japanese fan and how Gundam is the bond between 3 gens of his family. I would have cried but I'd nearly passed out from heatstroke an hour prior (please take lots of water if you're attending today).
Beyond that the panel was very 'selling ice to eskimos'. A lot of talk about the different types of Gundam merch and the fact the permanent Gundam Base London will have a points redemption; the more you buy, the more points you get and more points mean bigger prizes (Brucie I am not).
The moments of fan input did make me a bit self conscious. When they were trying to see who were 'the biggest fans' and my hand was in the minority going up, made me ponder why I haven't had much traction getting Bandai to acknowledge my coverage
The ending note was Hathaway and I'm not really sure what the mood was. I got the sense most were just happy to know we were getting it, though as I've made clear I was disappointed. Just feels so disconnected there's a big section for the event even highlighting kits new for that movie...and then we get a non committal date well after summer.
I was surprised there were no giveaways. Bandai America gives Gundam fans tons of freebies and even at MCM you'll see usually a Q&A section where everyone who braves the mic gets gifted a piece of merch. Nope. "Here's our stuff. You want it, you gotta buy it." Not even so much as a Hathaway poster. Hell, for any criticism I have of AL's actual distribution, they at least always push the boat out for freebies.
