Yeah, I've seen that one; it's a little out of the way for me to get to, however. I've got my eye on several other Manchester conventions coming up though! If FTLOA comes back, I do hope they'll find a venue more in the city centre.

More back on topic, I'm looking forward to seeing what Q2 home releases there will be from AL (and MVM and hopefully Crunchyroll!)

I made two orders, one on Sunday afternoon and one yesterday evening. Just over a hundred order numbers between them, suggesting much less interest in this sale (if the lack of posts here relative to Xmas wasn't evidence enough). Indeed, my order from Sunday hath been dispatched already. Blimey.

Really these are turning into a very slow job in terms of getting all of the materials that we need - working on it though, and it is very much not forgotten!

As you can probably imagine, above all else there's a lot of translation work involved with these projects, which is taking priority before we can get into the nitty-gritty of the build. We're still aiming for 2026 (for Frontier certainly, and hopefully Delta too) but we also don't want to rush these projects and all parties involved really want to take the time needed to get it right.
 
Tried to make an order but was advised at the checkout that they don't ship to France. So much for using my membership for one last discounted order. The FAQs state they DO ship to "many countries".

I'm curious about this, since all of Macross Delta has been translated in English for their Blu-ray releases, is the translation work involving the other aspects like the artwork and on-disc specials, or are you (or whoever does the subtitle work) having to go through the whole franchise because either Big West said no to using the subtitles on the Blu-ray discs or did they need any revision in case of typos?

I know Disney+ has subtitles but given D+'s track record of using Closed Captions/Dubtitles for their anime selection I have no clue if their subs for Macross are done properly or not.

Always difficult when Anime Limited has been ransacked over December with apparently record order numbers, to then have another sale only 3 months later, including a lot of the same products many have already purchased over Christmas.

Nice that we got the Baccano reprint though, especially after Gurren Lagann also got a reprint over Xmas too.

Something similar to what they did before with the "missing-now-found" stock of older releases would be fun; like some kind of Vault/Reprint sale. Just something a little different from the vibe of the usual Xmas sale ya know.

Of course, that may not always be possible or there may not always be enough titles they could reprint to warrant a themed sale like that, but the Easter sale usually does feel like a bit of a hangover from Christmas.

They did mention they're planning to announce new pre-orders after the Easter sale though - so that's exciting at least. Hopefully the next lot of pre-orders will pop off.

My order numbers show almost exactly 700 difference from the start of the sale on Friday until now (thought I may as well get that komada title, even though it’s probably such a niche title it’ll be in clearance this Xmas). I’m going to guess that the vast majority were right at the start of the sale.

As there’s only really been the one “working day”, it’s probably a little early for me to start complaining about dispatch time,..

Cool, I'd buy it if it were on regular sale. I currently want to buy three movies (The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes; The Colors Within; Lonely Castle in the Mirror) and Chaika the Coffin Princess 1 & 2. And I'm waiting for flash sales of Macross Zero or TONIKAWA: Over the Moon For You or... Ghost In The Shell: SAC_2045 Season 2. Fingers crossed I get one, so I'm placing my big order. It's a shame Anime Ltd doesn't allow combining orders, because buying one title on flash sales and having it shipped is crazy.

Yeah I'm also waiting for a flash sale that peek my intrest and will use my 15%. also going for Chaika S2, lonley castle and quitting heroing.
