UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

Yeah, I'm not sure I understand how simply printing the art on the opposite face, which is the same size as the one it's currently on, suddenly causes alignment issues.

There's a short-ish technical explanation why - but just because two plastic O-Cards have glued flaps, does not make them the same for any number of reasons (varies from printer to printer really).

There are so many things you'd not understand how simply doing X will result in Y in print - Your Lie in April Part 1 was one of those...

Watched the first episode on Funimation. Seemed interesting, with the main protagonist having an interesting backstory and not just a cold killing machine, but then this:

just had one of those "read the manga to continue the story" endings

So might save the money for the manga (complete series just over £110 on Wordery) if I like it enough by watching the show on Funimation.

well the anime does end on a anime original ending. The manga personally I feel cuts itself short by showing alot of interesting ideas/concepts and never going on them before it ended. Its a good story though.

Lets atleast ask for anime not from the stone age.

That wouldn't be in keeping with my character ;)

In all seriousness, and I've said this for years, I think Future Boy Conan (and the Takahata series, but I think they'd be an even harder sell) is an incredibly important series - certainly one of the most important never to be released in subtitled form, despite being out on Blu-Ray in Japan for the past 6 years. I've pretty much given up hope of a release, and my requesting is now out of habit/desperation but I'll keep at it. The longer it's unlicensed, the cheaper the licence is how it usually goes I think?

Oh my good lord, it is that time of the year. I do wish for Cardcaptor Sakura, all episodes+the 2 movies, and a bitching artbook.... Pretty please.

Anything else would just be an extra... Possibly.

PS - Bravo on the Eureka Seven UE. Incredible stuff, and superb presentation!

Nay, if we're on that oldies ship, I want an Akage no Anne!
(And an Romeo no Aoi Sory for stretching things.)
Would prefer that vastly over CCS too, France is releasing it January, I can have my fill there.

Romeo and Anne are great! Not surprised you've seen them, the world masterpiece series was actually a thing that was shown on TV in other parts of Europe, you guys get all the good stuff :(
