UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

Did they even address the GL 4k issue?

Both that and Her Blue Sky's absent dub are quite shocking. AL say nothing, change listings on the sly, and hope nobody notices.

Both were brief comments on the AUKN Discord but they haven't said anything publicly on social media as far as I'm aware.

Rather convenient that I don't bother ordering/unboxing these two and they just happen to have issues of their own.

I have pre-ordered CITY the Animation and will get Angel's Egg in case anyone asks.

Looking at the available options, is this the first time AL haven't offered a Blu-ray-only version? Even the standard edition bundles the 4K and Blu-ray. Kind of annoying to have to pay for a disc I can't watch.

In this particular case it means I won't be buying at all, since this is a film I have only a passing interest in. Having only combo packs always irritates me but I've bitten the bullet on something I want badly enough.

Maybe if the standard eventually shows up in one of the Buy-1-Get-1 sales but otherwise it's a pass for me.
