UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

So, while there might be more technicalities to this (I do not own this set either), I have read from a couple people now (including one where I would be inclined to trust) that the Gurren Lagann 4K movies discs from Anime Limited do not, despite claiming it does, have HDR10 and are presented in SDR instead.

Suspect this has been noticed by whoever, the product listing for the Gurren Lagann 4K Movie Collection CE has had its description changed, removing any reference to HDR and now its a more generic 4K presentation, potentially laying the groundwork to say "this is a SDR presentation" effectively.

The announcement blog post for that set, as of now, still makes reference to it (as below). Perhaps there's a statement to be made as to why, but still, not as previously advertised.

Had a look around and the Japanese 4K definitely has HDR10 and I suspect Aniplex of America does as well, so to see this missing on the UK release is bizarre.
