Long story short, they're basically taking the Nozomi DVD LEs and swapping the discs with Blu-rays.

That's a surprisingly early announcement, considering that the JP cinema release isn't until the end of August.

It's the dream team of Naoko Yamada, Reiko Yoshida and Kensuke Ushio again.

Yeah, I was hoping it'd ship before the week is out but I guess they were putting their focus on Lupin and Beautiful Bones and will save A Place Further for Monday (hopefully).

As far as the blog version goes, I don't think there's been one for months. It looked like they were going to switch to doing them on Youtube, but after some technical problems with their first attempts at that they just seem to have given up on announcing anything. Information just dribbles out via listings on retail sites.

I guess people can't complain about delays if no one knows what is being released or when.
