Ok guys, following my list of Anime events across the UK and Ireland I have decided to do the same with clubs. I have skewered the internet for active clubs and have formed the following list. Even so I need you help if I am to keep this up to date! I need you to inform me if a club closes, changes and submit new clubs that you find however there are a couple of grounds rules. The club must meet the following requirements,
- At least five members
- Has regular meetings
- Has a website and/or forum

I'm sorry if you have a club that doesn't match these but work on it and you will join the list!

One question, can i post about me opening a new club in the next coming month, i have found a venue to hold the club meetings but have not opened a site or forum yet but it shall be done in the near future, is this ok?

What makes you say that :)? One google search later, as well as personal experience says:

Scotland:

Edinburgh Anime and Animation Society (AASOC):

When: Every Tuesday during term time, 6-9pm
Where: Appleton Tower usually (Summer term, from now for 4-6 weeks is in another building)
Website: Is being redone just now, the old one is http://aasoc.tardis.ed.ac.uk/

Glasgow Anime:

When: Frequent events in Glasgow, normally Thursdays from 6 as I recall.
Where: Not affiliated to a University, so in a pub or out and about.

Strathclyde Anime Society:

It's not official club (yet?) but we hang out and go to like picnic or UltraKitty (japanese music night in a bar) together, we know the 2 Manchester clubs already listed and some of their members come out with us aswell, but those groups tend to do events less frequently, or only when it's uni, so we set up this group:
