I'm sure other people have the same complaint as me about their shedule. AC's nightly shedule has just been too much for me since it started airing. An episode a night means watching it every night but I have other things to do I often miss large chucks of episodes. With anime generally having more continuity than most American shows I'm at a loss as to if I should bother to continue watching the channel.

Anybody else feel the same way?

But they do repeat series quite afew times, so if possible you can catch up on them.

I prefer to watch it nightly if I don't have much to do that day, I dislike to wait for the next episode, especially if it's shown only once a week.

Actually they are due to repeat Witch Hunter Robin and S-cry-ed on thursday since the repective last episodes are being aired tomorrow night. I do understand what you're trying to say though it can be annoying when you have to miss eps for whatever reason and picking it up again after an absence of a few days could leave you to being lost.

Even if they show repeats you're still watching it out of order. I just think it would be a lot better if they were to air new episodes every say... Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays or something like that.

The minute I heard the episodes were shown daily, I was put off. For a start, they'd be showing mainly repeats within a month, and second of all, who has the time to watch an episode a day? I'm busy every Monday and Thursday night, and I'm normally out on Friday and Saturday too.

At least them showing it every night means series don't take months to get through, if you miss them set up the vcr to tape them or use Sky+ to auto record the whole series so you keep up to date with them dude

Can't complain, that's why Japan invented VCR's and Sky+

I haven't got either at the moment, but this is where the magic of the internet comes in. If I miss an episode I try and find it on-line, and more often than not it'll be somewhere, all be it in a poorer quality and sometimes only available subbed (a bit weird after watch the dub on AC), but it means that I can keep up with the story.

Looking at this episode guide to Bleach AC have caught up with where the Americans had got up to last year, I wonder if when it starts again in the States whether AC will follow and show it weekly?

I don't really care too much, I hardly ever watch it often, I used to tune in every night for Wolf's Rain and .Hack, but that's it. =|

Though I will watch Gundam SEED from episode 31 onward since it's where I left off when TV-Links got shut down. But I do think they air too quickly, still care very little though.

But if you miss it one of those nights, then you're gonna have to wait until the series has finished which will take longer with it being on less just to get back to where you were.

I think there's more chance of seeing a series if it's on every night then it being on only afew times a week. Anime Central might decide to change time-slots later on in the year anyway, especially if another channel starts airing Anime.

I think the Mon-Wed-Fri thing would work better than daily, for the already pointed out repeats and time problems. (None of which affect me so far, but I'm thinking of others.)

Problems with VCR and Sky+ is sometimes you cant watch it due to technical faults and the tape being caught up inside, etc. It's Rare, and it doesn't change Sky+ when viewed live or taped, but it's still annoying.

So, Id day the schedule should be Shows-repeats-shows-repeats-shows-repeat, and then a day to catch up on a certain show (i.e. play eps 1-6 of FMA one Sunday, 1-6 of Planetes the next week), plus for any movies.

It is a bit of a pain but I do like to watch a lot of episodes in a short time so it suits me, though if I record anything I do have to make time to watch it before the nex episode.

I stick by what I said elsewhere.

I think the problem AC has is that it starts too many series at the same time so if you miss the first few episodes of a couple of the series you want to watch, you might decide to leave it till the next set of series start and that means 1 less viewer for nearly a whole month for 26 ep series (or longer for more eps) now think how many people that could add up to. I think what may work better for them would be to start a new series each week or whatever it would work out at. That way if somebody missed the start of a series there may be another series starting they might watch, and at least it would keep them interested in the channel and as long as things were advertised on there properly they would know what's coming and may hang around for the next new series.

I find it a pain as well. Normally I'd like to watch other stuff after nine, but 9-10 are the only times I get to watch Anime Network.

What I'd prefer is if they chose a certain day to repeat the episodes shown or show it during the day time so I can watch some of the other things they've got. Like my sister, being a major anime fanatic wishes she could watch Witch hunter Robin, but it shows too late for.

Im the same. I cant really watch much at all, i only get between 9-19 when my parents arent on the TV. So, really need to stream it online, which can be a long and boring process. Would be cool if they could stream it on AC's site.

I think it's going way too fast. But really what can they do... The channel is new, and they have to stuff on something everyday.

But yah, I think it's going way too fast and when they start aquring new shows (they getting good viewer figures again) then they should consider cutting down the amount of episodes per week. Plus everyone wants to see different kinds each night, not the same series throughout its run.

Heh I complained about that on AC and they didn't seem to care.

AC was always a mistake as an channel. And I wish it could've been an Time Block
