So yeah, the BBC lost the right to a court injunction to protect the identity of The Stig. They still could take this to trial, as it was revealed via an autobiography, if i'm reading that right, but i dunno what this means for the character now we know who it is. Will he still stick about in Top Gear, or will he finally be released into the wild

I don't think it's officially been released that it's Ben Collins. Just that he's claiming to reveal the identity in his book (blatantly him, though, right?). Besides, what's the problem? If he says it's him, the BBC can just sack him and choose someone else.

(In other news, I wish Tony Blair would just **** off into a tiny dark hole and stop filling our news with New Labour spats. Yes, I do really detest that man now.)

I didn't mind him until he started saying he sabotaged the Hunting Act. Cuunt.
 
Only reason i brought it up was the fact that the BBC lost the court injunction really, hah. So far they say its Ben Collins, via the auto-biography, but yeah, there could easily be a few lies spun into that. I do find it strange that they'd actually make such a big fuss over it, that it'd be covered in the news as "Breaking news". But there we go.

@Vivi: I've not once liked Tony Blair, and unless his novel was being written when mandleson was doing his, he's just jumping the bandwagon so that he may seem to be the "good guy" in all of this, when in fact, he left Brown in charge. Mind you, all i know of is the brown bashing in that novel of his, not much else.
