There's a thread in General Anime Discussion that has been resurrected more times than Jesus and cloned more times than Jango Fett all about these so thought I'd better put one here.

First for technical achievement and an animé library greater than mine

Those are kickass, I've seen the first before, But the other two are new and great to me. Here's a couple off my favourites.. I'll post more when I remember what they are. I'm not putting that Naruto Beast one down on purpose, Because everyone everywhere has seen that one. Someone else put it if they wish

Skittles : Really uberly fantastic. It just is. The song and the anime match together so very well. ;p.

Sail On: Combines one helluva anime with one really suiting song that I have come to <3 because of the amount of times I've heard it now. If you ain't seen it, Go on, guess.. What possible anime could I be posting a AMV off.

After reading some blog reviews of Legend of the Galactic Heroes, somehow I came across this great AMV/trailer:

The music, in particular, is fantastic. It's a classical piece with no vocals, but it's so impossibly epic when you see what's happening in the video.

For those we aren't aware of it yet, Legend of the Galactic Heroes is a "hard" science fiction series that spans over 100 episodes produced over 10 years. It depicts the rise of two military geniuses set against political and social rumblings, the space battles involve thousands of people and delve deeply into the tactics and emotions behind orchestrating such a large scale war. It's not a story for everyone, but damn, if you like this kind of thing, it's pretty much the best anime out there.

Just watched this on Japanator (So a fair amount may have seen it already) But its really.. Wow!. It includes Ouran High, Haruhi & Lucky Star and makes something that really shows off why it took so damn long for this 'Chiikaboom' to make. After all the 10 crap AMV's that you might come across on YouTube you finally see something like this and it leave you in awe.

Even if you don't like them shows, You should still watch. Its really brilliant. "Fantastic technical achievement" - Reminds me a lot off Haruhi's Skittles.

Talk about stereotyping Otaku, but it's quite a kool vid/song if you just dont think how nerd-sounding it is.

maybe you already know this one... it was Best in Show at Anime Boston 2006 Anime Music Video Contest. I think it's amazing... the music is really cool. The characters are dancing throughout all the video, but their movements seem to go perfectly with the song. :D :eek:

Mmhm, definatly agree with you on that one. Was shown this a few days ago and was impressed how well the song went along with One Piece.
