Anime UK News has received information about a charity festival named Aid for Japan which will take place at Conway Hall, Holborn, London on the 15th of May.

Join us on May 15th for Aid For Japan – a one-day charity festival set by Akemi Solloway-Tanaka – respected Japanese lecturer and founder of Bunkasai and the Japanese Art Festival.
Aid For Japan is a new charity set-up by Akemi to help orphans in Japan following the recent devastating Earthquake. All profits from the event on 15th May will be donated to Aid For Japan.
Visitors to the Aid For Japan event can look forward to a packed schedule including traditional and modern Japanese music performances, lectures on Japanese culture, cosplay competition, tasty Japanese food, bring-and buy area, manga workshops and even a singing lesson!
The first 50 visitors will also receive a goody bag with a delicious box of Mikado, courtesy of Lyca Mobile!
Plus join us for our Evening Extravaganza, featuring live performances by iMMa, Dobly, Saara Takase, LDN48 and DJ sets courtesy of J-Pop Go and WOTA.
