Gunbuster machine
Belldandy & Holybell
SD Motoko Kusanagi
Motoko Kusanagi (same costume as SD figure)...
Super Cool :D Looks like you've done a smashing job of building the Strike Noir. I love the Bandai kits as they're easy to pose and have oodles of details. How about one of the Perfect Grade kits next
A new project and a first time sculpt for me... I've been hunting around for a kit from Negima for a while but have so far been unsuccessful in finding one, so I thought I'd make my own form modelling clay (Super Sculpy Firm) :D I've never done anything like this before and don't realy know what...
Finished watching "Aim for the Top 2 (Die Buster)" which I liked as much as Gunbuster but in a slightly different way.
Watched TekkonKinKreet last night, don't think I'd buy it just yet but it was good.
Third of the way through Tenchi in Tokyo tv series and half way through Mahoromataic tv...

It was a quick turn around on this kit, just under two weeks total time but about 4, 8 hour days if I'd built & sprayed it in one go.
Currently working on a BIG Beast for a friend. I'll post a build thread but it isn't Anime/Manga based.
Today's progress - glued everything together and painted the eyes
Just a touch more work was required to tidy the eyes up a little
99% complete, a small amount of filling & pinting is required on the back of the head.
Don't think Alita needs an introduction. Another resin kit from those guys at e2046 in Hong Kong
Just out of the box.
cleaned & primed.
Test build with a few sprayed bits.
In bits again, more stuff airbrushed.
Currently working on the head.
Only the eye's and some...
I'm one happy bunny today as two orders turned up, one from Amazon and the other from Hobby Link Japan :D
Amazon:
AirGear vol.6
Bleach vol.18, 19, 20 & 21
Hunter x Hunter vol.17
HLJ:
Hmm, what could be in this big brown box?
Oh my, it's four new kits from Japan :D
Tie...
Bought three mangas from Boarders yesterday:
Death Note vol.2 & 3
Rurouni Kenshin vol.14
And some where in the postal system:
Air Gear vol.6
Bleach vol.18, 19, 20 & 21
Hunter x Hunter vol.17
Naruto vol.25, 26 & 27
:D
I used a metallic royal blue for the Tachi' rather than the normal mid blue that gets used (personal choice). As for the major, not much I can do about that i'm afraid, just painted the figure as it came out of the box :)
It's nice to get a bit of criticism now & again, keeps you on your toes :D
I've got a lot of Oh! My Goddess from when Dark Horse were releasing it in 48 page installments every month. MELONPAN was rite in saying that they would run a complete story ark, then you'ld get a couple of "one shot" stories before the next ark started.
His site says Avatar is due out in 2009 and Battle Angel is in pre-production!? From (what I can recall of) an early interview he did, both films are to be made in such a way that they can stand alone as idividual films, but with the possibility of each expanding to trilogies if they get good...
Nobody has mentioned James Cameron's Battle Angel yet, due to start filming in '08 with the possiblity of it being the first of a trilogy. It's currently in pre-production according to his site.
Early in the week I purchased (Manga):
Bleach vol.16 & 17
Death note vol.1
Escaflowne vol.4
Hunter x Hunter vol.16
And yesterday (normal DVD):
Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix
The Magnificent Seven SE
