Next kit on my list is Vash from Trigun - this is going to be my figure entry into the same comp as the Spider tank...

See the Tachikoma Kit!? Once built I'll be giving it away to one lucky forum member... keep you posted as to how to win it.

Give it to me :D

Can't wait to see the Vash the Stampede one built and painted I am a huge Trigun fan and after seeing what you did with R-3000 Tank.

RE: Tachikoma 1/24 kit by Wave - I'll be building this once I've finished Vash, the Tachikoma has movable legs/feet, arms and body, and there will be a scale Major inculded :)

I've already thought of a good GitS SAC related question and will post up a dedicated build thread closer to the time and will post the question towards the end.

:D Made a start on cleaning the kit, joind some of the coat tails together but some areas will require heating and reforming for a better fit. There's some lovely detail on the kit...

Just how tall!?

This one is dragging on a bit and the dead line for the comp' entries is 30th November... Must hurry :?

Any way made a start on priming, sanding and filling the kit. It needs one final coat of primer before I can start on the painting, though I have done one piece of his jacket.

Pre-shaded with matt black - three coats of thinned gloss red - matt black on edgeing & buttons - alclad pale gold on edgeing & chrome on the buttons - Alclad jet exhaust around the bullit holes and to touch-up the shading

:D Thanks. Quick to do and very effective when done right...

Technique: light on dark & Pre-shading. Spray the model with black paint where you think the shadows will fall and on any areas that need defining. Useing a thinned down paint (more than normal) apply light coats over the model, building up the layers until the desired effect is achieved.
