Where to Buy Anime in the UK (was Anime Online Retailers)

Amazon say they've considered some Blu Rays I bought as undeliverable and said I would be refunded. Only to have them deliver said Blu Rays this evening despite buying them from Anime On Line to make it up and Amazon themselves saying I had to redo my orders from them on their website!

Funimation Global Group Completes Acquisition of Crunchyroll

Not to me it doesn't, sounds like a monopoly, we have enough of that with Disney now owning Star Wars, Marvel and Fox, They were also thinking of buying Warner Bros, which actually could have been interesting if you would put Mickey Mouse in Space Jam!

That's about the same price on Amazon as Demon Slayer's collector's editions, way too far out of my league.

Not just UP1 Amazon as well on my end, though it may be a problem on their end, not down to supply, at least I'm getting refunded and ended buying the Blu Rays from MVM (slightly cheaper)

Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl now streaming on BBC iPlayer

yeah, bit strange seeing it on the Beeb, they don't normally like anime even the kiddy stuff at least not post 2003. Is the Daily Mail going to throw a hissy fit?

Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl now streaming on BBC iPlayer

Weird, the last anime I saw on the BBC was Astro Boy -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfr-48LJ-yI Pokemon is mainstream and they are starting from a good position, Diamond and Pearl was where a lot of the ex 4Kids VAs came in. The only other anime the BBC have shown AFAIK are the Ghibli movies

UK Anime Distributor Crunchyroll/Funimation/Manga UK Discussion Thread

Yes there is, ADV dubbed it I think in 2006 and released it on DVD in the US, we had to make do with the edited original because well you know.... An example of the dub compared with the Japanese and edited dub ... And the annoyance of getting Vic Mignogna as your main character These are...

UK Anime Distributor Crunchyroll/Funimation/Manga UK Discussion Thread

I think the release is similar to the remastered DVDs that Manga released in the mid 2000s, which contained the Harmony Gold dubbing from the 80s not the ADV dub. If Funimation did rerelease Macross uncut I doubt it would have the Harmony Gold dub with the added bells and whistles...

Cannot buy import Blu Rays on UP1usa.com (Debit card declined despite buying something on Amazon)

For whatever reason my new debit card (lost my old one) doesn't work on UP1usa (united publications) despite buying a Blu Ray on Amazon. I keep getting emails via united publications telling it still doesn't and they think it is a fraud. I have even been able to withdraw money so I don't know...

Legal Streaming 2018: Q2 Spring Season | FOR REAL?! UPYO ADVANCE BOOSTO?!

So the compromise then, because unless Anime Ltd. suddenly strike up a new deal for other Funi shows at some MCM or something then we only get My hero academia and maybe Season 3 of Attack on Titan

Legal Streaming 2018: Q2 Spring Season | FOR REAL?! UPYO ADVANCE BOOSTO?!

I don't get it! Anime Ltd. loses Funi licenses on DVD and Blu Ray but Funi gets to stream their shows even though they don't have DVD Blu Ray rights. I'm guessing this is like arslan and Seraph of the End, streaming rights only.
