Hmm looks of interest. I stated GITS as i'm not a huge fan of Shonen type stuff, except maybe Fullmetal Panic, and prefer something with a bit more depth. Hmm now blu ray or DVD... hmmm.

Wouldn't an open subscription method be better for somthing like Blu Ray anime? IE you get people to pre order and tie them in for the full set and once you get critial mass you can start production? Else go right to box sets of the blu rays?

Hmm I prefer then SAC Motoko, the manga version looks too similar to Leona Ozaki from New Dominion Tank Police...

I have to agree HdE, SAC in my humble opinion is the best iteration of GITS. I'm also a massive Shirow fan, I'd love to see a proper anime version of appleseed too. The original anime, and new CG versions are not the same IMO..

I think it's going to be prequal... The Edelweiss was Welkin's farthers tank from the first war. With the smaller lances and a F-off big sword i think it's going to be about Welkins farther...
