Hmm My 2peneth.. Epic, anime maybe Last exile. Though Ghost in the shell is my fave i don't think it's quite epic in scope... As for somthing live action... may be Band of Brothers? But it can be a bit of a Testosterone fest.

Ahh but in 78 we got; The Sea Harrier, Superman, Battlestar Galactica, Halloween, The Lord of the Rings (The animated version), Watership Down...

I've just finished Planetes, i think you may well like it Arb, think of it as patlabor with a bit of full metal panic, but no mechs ;)

I can't think of many/any? games which are online which tell a story? I mean, i've ben playing Mass Effect, Valkyria chronicles, Dragon Age, Assasin's creed, etc etc, and hey have all got SP with no or little mp...

For anyone interested. I never played this on the PS, so i may pick it up once i've finished FF8 on the PSP.
