Not sure if it's the ulitmate best option, but put my order for Rascal in at Robert's Anime Corner store.
Had a few things off them that were locked behind Cruncyroll prior to them opening things up. Price is pretty much a wash, more for the item, less for postage - but I know from experience...
Finally watched the 4th Eva rebuild film after picking up the AL release. I'd heard it was a little bit of a dud and I guess I wasn't disappointed.
It has been a while since I watched 3, and I didn't care for that either, but things just seemed to happen, with little explination. Action was...
So I reached out to UP1 and they could confirm the following
"We expect to fill all current orders up to end of November, aiming to clear accounts in December of any outstanding orders.
One new problem is Right Stuf new owners(Last Year) will close Right Stuf shop in October. We are waiting to...
Good point, I'd assume Rightstuf were around for longer than it seems they are. You'd like to think they have something in place to honour orders. Especially as UP1 have not scrubbed things from their site as orderable, if they've been sending cards for at least a week you'd think they would...
Just had my UP1 order with that card, I'd suspected they might use Rightstuf to help them get stock and I guess this confirms that. I will have to watch this thread closely for any viable alternatives.
What a stupid way to do things. Just fulfil the existing orders and make it known to customers that the new retailer has taken over the remaining stock and future orders. They could do that immediately and with no risk or worry about customer data.
Just had word from United Publications they had to cancel my Ladies Vs Butlets Undressed Edition - aparantly Rightstuf have gone radio silent about if they are actually going to fulfil existing orders. Given they burnt me on a figure order last year I can't see myself using Rightstuf again.
Had a sudden thought about Rightstuf removing all the Adult stuff from their shop and checked what United Publications are selling. Looks like they definately get their stock via Rightstuf in some way or another as all the Adult BD/DvD are gone. Can't say I was rushing to pick anything up, but...
Anyone know if AL are back in their offices yet? Still waiting on the Gundam Wing bundle that they needed to get back into the office to be able to ship.
Thanks, it's that Area Code I wanted to confirm was an option to set.
It seems like Geo-lock is really limited to Anime as no-one elsewhere really talks about anything other than Region codes (and confuse location/area for region lock)
Funnily enough that's the one I was looking at. Do you have any issue with the Sentai geo locked discs, or can you freely set your location as the US in the settings?
Looking for some tips on a new Multi - Region BD player after mine died this morning. It'd have to be something I could go between A and B and also be able to set location on to get round some geo-locked discs.
I picked up my last player ~10 years ago based on a recommendation from here so I'm...
That doesn't sound great given some things are up for pre-order a year ahead. Is this part of an overall change to Play-Asia needing payment on all orders upfront?
I suspected that might be an issue with SG0. In fact has any Anime really pulled off the merging of multiple VN stories arcs into one? I kinda feel the fact the arcs were separate n the first place means you'd need a very skilled hand to even think of merging them.
