I'm sorry, but it seems that nothing we say is going to 'convince you' that anime can be an affordable hobby.

Personally, I think a UK podcast should focus on titles that are legally available to the UK in terms of 'what have you been watching', and obviously mention where they are being watched, and then maybe a comment like 'I wonder if Viewster could pick up X, they pick up a lot of Funimation shows...

I don't think it is. Yes, unlike with gaming, sometimes anime distributors are unable to offer a standard edition alongside a collectors edition on release and instead have the standard edition released a year or so later, which may feel like anime is only made for those with more income, but...

I've given this some thought, and even though I'm not that that well known on here, I would be up for discussing the 'what are you watching this season?' topic...if that's of any help?

I don't think its the fact that the podcast itself isn't appealing, I was very tempted to apply myself but I decided against it because I have a horrible voice and i'm rather boring/not knowledgeable enough for these sort of discussions :P
