Rei sounded very different from both Netflix and Funimation dubs. But I got used to it very quickly.
Other than that, I don’t remember noticing any differences with Funimation dubs that came before that - it’s great that majority of voice actors returned to reprise their roles.
Hkwever I did...
Cute.
But stupid. I’m guessing fans knew this stuff - but what about people who watched the movies without reading interviews or scrolling through Eva forums?
Yes. But you should definitely watch 3.33 before starting the new one. Have you seen the original series? It’s kind of crucial for understanding 3.0+1.01 (well, “for understanding it as much as possible”, let’s say)
Look higher in the thread -the English subs for 1.11 aren’t there. That’s what my post was about :) Might be added later, so don’t subscribe right away if subs are that important to you .
as for blu rays - don’t count on it. Amazon doesn’t even have rights to produce a blu ray release, as far...
If it's Khara that pulled it, maybe they will supervise subs being added back? And I persoanlly dont think prime Video that bad of a platform - they paid for a license and all, they should be interested in fixing the issue
I should replay it. It was one of the first open world games I played and I couldn’t stop comparing it with Assassins Creed Origins because of that. I remember being frustrated with melee combat and the lack of climbing mechanic
Sorry, mate, I live in another country but hopefully somebody will respond.
Before then you can try clicking on names of the actors of the Evangelion movies you can find - and hopefully it will help you find the ones that don’t show up in the search.
I watched 3.0+1.01 and below are my impressions.
These are not spoilers, per se, as I do not mention any characters or their actions - just wanted to share what I thought of the movie. But I do share some details regarding the movie structure and even draw some parallels with the previous...
[No spoilers for 3.0+1.0 in this post]
I just came home and Evangelion movies are, for whatever reason, already available. Quite earlier than I expected.
Haven't touched the new movie yet but I looked at two scenes from previous movies... and I was left disappointed.
In 2.22 there is a scene...
I was able to open Prime Video UK site on my computer. For whatever reason it doesn't show the previous three on the front page but I noticed they have also added Hideaki Anno: The Final Challenge of Evangelion (it's also seen on Hedgehog's screenshot earlier in the thread) - 2-hour documentary...
Yeah, that's what I meant. maybe even not inline spoiler but the one with the button (I think inline spoilers are easier to open accidentally when you scroll through the thread on smartphone)
Insane.
So basically all of this means that Khara is OK with exclusion of Fly Me to the Moon? I used to think that Netflix is the one who couldnt get the rights on that song, but now I think that Khara is the one struggling with it
From business perspective its understandable that they release UE first. I was hoping for cheaper edition too. How long does it usually take? A year? Two?
