Never-Ending Man: Hayao Miyazaki – Review

For anyone who is interested in the behind-the-scenes goings on at Studio Ghibli and the work of Miyazaki, this is a really well put together documentary that reveals another side of the great director that we seldom see. Continue reading...

Defective or Disappointing UK Anime Discs

Yeah, as reviewer on this one our check disc was fine, although we only received the DVD and not the Blu-ray. Certainly an unfortunate situation which becomes difficult to rectify immediately with the current world situation.

    Winter 2020 Overview

Yeah, agree with you on this. The time gaps also make me forget about some shows quite frankly, so if it 's something where I might watch it, because it doesn't appear until 6 months later I'll have forgotten about it and won't bother. I honestly don't like Netflix's binge dumps especially when...

Twin Star Exorcists Part 4 Review

While Twin Star Exorcists is not the greatest shonen anime out there, it can still be quite fun to watch, with Part 4 giving you a satisfying conclusion to the series despite some sketchier plot points. Continue reading...

Twin Star Exorcists Part 3 Review

The third part of Twin Star Exorcists remains a mixed bag, with the first half of the set being particularly underwhelming; however the second half is a marked improvement with more character development, a greater focus on the action and a jump up in the threat level of the villains. Continue...

UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

I've heard that Norton Chrome extension causing no end of trouble now they're forcing people into installing it to get rid of the at risk warnings. If you're on Windows 10 I'd advise getting rid of it completely - the built in security stuff is actually pretty good these days and third party AV...

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – Complete Series Collection Review

While it does have its faults, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is an anime series that has to be experienced to be believed: a frantic and breakneck rollercoaster of a show that just takes you along for the ride. Continue reading...

Zombie Land Saga: The Complete Series Review

@WMD Glad you enjoyed it! It was specifically Sakura's arc at the end that I thought wasn't quite as good as the others, but overall it is a pretty amazing show.

Zombie Land Saga: The Complete Series Review

Apart from a slight dip in its momentum towards the end, Zombie Land Saga is a runaway train of humour and emotion, taking an inspired idea of putting together idols and zombies and making it work with ease. Continue reading...

    SSSS.Gridman: The Complete Series Review

SSSS.Gridman combines Studio Trigger’s trademark style and eccentricity with the absurdness and creativity of the tokusatsu genre. It remains faithful to the original 1990s TV series with the kaiju and the action sequences, while telling an engaging and heartfelt story with a strong cast of...

Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Part 2 Review

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 cements the entire series as a fantastic action show full of tense and exciting mobile suit battles, and while some areas are an improvement over its first season, such as dialogue and character development, it feels weaker in others, particularly in its plot and pacing...

Soul Eater – The Complete Series Review

Soul Eater is a shonen classic: an exciting action show with a sheer sense of style that covers its entire look and feel, from world to soundtrack to characters. Despite its plot having an anime original ending, it's still thrilling to watch and manages to ties things up in a satisfying way...

The 12 Days of Christmas 2019 Sale for Anime Limited and MVM Entertainment

Ordered Garden of Words today. After having multiple people badger me to watch it for years as well having visited its setting - Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden - twice, I might actually get around to watching it.

UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

The issue with Iron Blooded Orphans is that it's a Funi license in the US rather than the typical RightStuf/Nozomi. So it's not clear who would nab it over here; AL by way of their direct partnership with Sunrise, or Manga by way of their parent company.

It's Japanese only, yeah. It's a nice set though. I did go over the bonus list before I ordered it but wasn't expecting the picture frame!
