Glad you enjoyed OHSHC so much. =) I guess if you just hear about it it sounds like typical shoujo fluff... You need to see it to believe how good it is.
Started Fullmetal Alchemist a day or so ago; am up to episode 9. I'm 100% hooked on this. Better not take on any more series for a while now; I'm watching four just now, which is more than I've done before. 07-Ghost, Pandora Hearts, Samurai Deeper Kyo and Fullmetal Alchemist... but I want to...
Tsubasa is ending? Wow. I thought this day would never come. I stopped reading a while ago because, well, I just didn't know what was going on any more. @_@ I may pick it up again though, since I would really like to see how it all ends. I followed it for a long time...
I don't find watching on the internet distracting at all, unless there's a big flashing advert or something beside the thing I'm trying to watch. I mean, if you're watching something interesting then why would you suddenly pause and go check your email? I'd only do something like that if I was...
Well, I generally never buy anime I haven't seen, unless it's by Studio Ghibli. :P I made that mistake with Buso Renkin. I got the first OHSHC DVD for my birthday a couple of months ago; watched the first three episodes, and since then it's been sitting idle on my shelf. I saw the whole series...
You could try Black Blood Brothers. I haven't watched it yet though. Or there's Trinity Blood, which I didn't like but most people seem to like. Hm... Vampire Knight isn't exactly gritty, but the first season is good.
Have you read the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice? I think you'd like 'em...
I agree about the v1s and 2s, yep. I don't think my local bookshop has ever, ever had DNAngel v7 in. It has pretty much all the rest; all the volumes before and after 7, but never 7. 'Tis frustrating. It's the same with D.Gray-man too, actually. Volume 4 is nowhere to be found but all the others...
I preferred Ranka's myself. :P Always thought she sounded a bit sweeter.
Thank you for taking a look at my gallery; "It's Allen" is one of my favourites so far too. Thanks for the welcome also. ^^
Hm, I got bored halfway through the film and switched off. Maybe I'd have liked it more if I hadn't seen the anime. I knew the story already so everything was very rushed and lots was missed out. I just don't think trying to condense 37 episodes into a 2 hour film really works.
