I got a region 1 copy of FMA vol1 today, yeah I brought it just for the tin. The tin is nice but the second one seems better made, this one has trouble staying closed and needed some adjustment.

Has anyone watched this? It's a super robot show/romance drama that completley escaped my attention untill I started buying Newtpe USA again this month. It looks good to me but I'd like to hear from anyone who's actually seen it.

Just out of curiousity, is anyone else actaully buying Last Blitz? I am since I've brought all of Beez's Gundam releases bar Seed which I got from america as I didn't think it would come out here at the time.

I've seen that posted a lot as well but it was more like fan speculation, i.e "I imagine that whoever has Gunbuster 1/2 will want to release both." The super expensive release would never fly over here, the kind of folks who can aford that would buy the american or even the japanese versions...

Whether or not it's genuine? Anyway, this is good news, I was allready considering the Patlabor re-releases & if there's a chance they'll come out here then I'll definitley get them and everything else in the hopes of seeing Gunbuster.

I thought Pom Poko was a very good film, more ambitious then most of their works with it's story/message and brillianty imaginative with the Tanuki's shape shifting.

I got my set this morning, watched it very shortly after inspecting/admiring the tin. It's nicer then I realised fron net pictures and arrived completely unscathed though a tiny bit concave on the unhinged side. Unlike the GitS tin this one actually fits on my dvd shelves which is a nice bonus...
