After the Rain went in the DotW around 4 months after release, happens sometimes, I vaguely recall the MVM rep commenting on here that "they like to mix it up" or something to that effect when someone asked about this before.

So, the Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System CE early bird is up, and while the text and the image in the product listing both suggest a digipack, the image still has "artwork not final" on in, whereas in the early bird email there's a picture with an amaray case and without the artwork not final...

Hell, I already have (and really like) the CE sets, and even I'm tempted at that price...

About Paranoia Agent, I don't think it's been mentioned here but in case there are people who don't follow the twitter links, they've stated before and again in this tweet that the CE is close to selling out, so decision time if you're still on the fence. And in other MVM news, Kotomimonogatari...

MVM confirmed on twitter that it'll only be the one disc in their release of Is the Order a Rabbit? season 1, so yeah, same as Sentai's. Oh well, no point in ordering that when I already picked up the Sentai ones for silly cheap in a RightStuf sale, I'll at least pick up their season 3 release...

Are MVM's Is the Order a Rabbit releases likely to be the same as the Sentai ones in the US, anyone know? Because there have been quite a few complaints about the subtitles on those, I think, and the season 1 release had all 12 episodes on a single disc, too...

Just a wild guess, but if you have to pay for each episode of a series to get it rated by the BBFC, maybe they just submitted the most questionable episodes, just to test the waters to see if it was worth releasing?

It's not your player, from what I understand subtitles on dvds are typically (if not always) implemented as up to 4 colour (including transparency) images muxed into the mpeg stream, with absolutely no anti-aliasing, so there isn't much any particular player can do to make them look any better...

A quick question about orders with both in-stock and pre-order items from MVM, do they ship the in-stock stuff straight away or hold them and ship with the pre-order stuff once they arrive? Their FAQ suggests the former but is a little ambiguous, just want to make sure, thanks.

Ah, bugger, I was kinda gambling on MVM doing their usual 20% off easter offer, looks like this will be more akin to their xmas sales. Was holding off on a few pre-orders in anticipation of that, whoopsies... Ah well, still looking forward to seeing what they have on offer.
