I honestly have no idea how people watch those transfers and say they are acceptable, I get people wanting to watch these movies and finally own them but these are beyond hideous and revisionist. I have never seen True Lies or The Abyss and I would like to watch them but there's no way I am...
Doesn’t AL France have a bunch of issues with their releases that they never fix as well? Then when asked about said issues, they say its on AL UK or just don’t respond. But when AL UK is asked about AL Frances issues they say it’s on AL France. Seems like both companies have this issue of...
If we are talking classic anime that AL France has and the UK doesn't, then I would like Space Adventure Cobra TV & Movie please. Also the French version of the opening song to Cobra is great.
As a side note, while the Elfen Lied foil slipcover is cool, not using the Gustav Klimt inspired...
I am with you on the English cast for GiTS SAC being iconic, Mary is the definitive English voice for Motoko, Richard and William are great and Crispin Freeman does a good job as Togusa although I do prefer David Thompson.
If it isn’t a listing error we might be seeing another situation similar to Sentai having to redub the Netflix shows they acquired. I hope this isn’t the case since it just leads to me not purchasing the Blu Ray due to the lack of the dub. Example being Kakegurui since I watched it on Netflix...
Hate on Manga UK for some of the crap they pulled but I would take them or the Funimation UK rebrand of Manga UK over Shittyroll UK any day of the week.
Nadesico The Movie The Prince of Darkness is finished, no clean cover due to lack of suitable official images. Just finding the regular cover art in a non stretched state or just having its normal colours was almost impossible. I managed to rip this image from some streaming site that had it as...
In my opinion for the price that AL are charging for the Macross Plus Ultimate Edition, they should of really had the discs be 4K and it would of been nice to have the movie dubbed but sometimes you can't have everything.
This is one of the nicest comments I have ever received, the fact you went out of your way to make an account to thank me means a lot. I am glad you like them, maybe one day I will get around to doing the series and two movies.
Huh, the Venus Wars CE is a little different in terms of content from the Sentai release. ALs booklet is 20 pages shorter than Sentai’s booklet and AL has the CPM trailer while Sentai’s has a Japanese promo. Weird I thought it would of been a direct clone like ALs other Sentai releases.
Yeah, I have been taking cover requests since the first post but only one person asked for one so far. So if you do find one from your collection let me know.
I also want to watch Lain but its time and there is so many other shows I want to watch as well.
Serial Experiments Lain covers are now complete. I have never actually seen the series and I don't own it so I was kinda of flying blind when adding images and making the cover. Its my first MVM cover and was designed to line up with other MVM releases in terms of the spine. Its also the first...
I was never sure about the last two mecha ones but I am glad you liked them. I personally feel they are the weakest ones I have done since the images don't technically fit but its just a cover at the end of the day.
I honestly wouldn't have a problem with Sentai redubbing anime if they actually bothered to include the original dub. The more choice the better and it's not like they have never included old dubs before. For example Sentai's releases of Appleseed (2004) has both the Animaze dub and the Sentai...
I will definitely be picking up Venus Wars, the more retro anime the better. Glad I passed on the Sentai limited edition with its cheap cardboard box, I expect the AL release will be the same as Sentai's meaning no Manga UK dub unfortunately. Looks like I will just have to rip it and add the dub...
