My favorite series from the winter season was Journal With Witch, it's a quiet series that punches well above it's weight. I'm getting started with My Dressup Darling S2 as I liked the 1st season.
 
Gunparade Orchestra episodes 22-24 & OVA (Complete. Sadly this didn’t improve upon its predecessor, consisting of three arcs with only the first really engaging me, which was a shame.) 2/5

I'm not sure if I'll stick with the entire series but it's a fun concept, I'll give it another episode or two.
 
Dorohedoro ep1-3 (English dub, rewatch)

Rather than start straight into the second season, I thought I’d rewatch the first run of Dorohedoro beforehand. I still really enjoy the show; with its quirky, grungy setting, endearing characters and casual attitude to extreme violence, I think it pretty much encapsulates what started me watching anime in the first place. Some of the character animation still stands out as being a little obviously CG, but I don’t think it detracts from the show overall and I do maintain that it’s a reasonable trade off for maintaining the distinctive, scratchy look of Hayashida’s artwork. Should be interesting to see if the new season does anything to improve on that, actually.
 
I used to make homemade dvds many years ago and I found one-Macademi Wasshoi (also known as Magic Academy) and started rewatching it. The amount of time and money I spent making these dvds was expensive, especially the ink for the printer....! If you've never seen it I recommend the show, it's quite quirky and entertaining. Be advised that it's a pretty old series dating back to 2008, though. And thank god Re-Zero is back, now I can watch Sabaru get tortured some more. LOL20260408_161015.jpg20260408_161046.jpg

Forewarned is four armed, waiting around, and... Even more waiting for me because the dub isn't ready for the final episode!

Have to get used to it as the next season isn't out till Autumn... next year!! I would read the manga, but apparently that's on indefinite hiatus due to health issues! (when will the Japanese learn about work life balance!?)

Right up my cup of tea. Typical story.
It got a boost from the introduction of Panamera, voiced by Youko Hikasa. Fanservice alert.
She gave me Kevin O'Neill vibes.
I found it rather funny how they positioned her next to the 2 youngsters.
Her castle walls are mighty impressive.

A little bit depressing but I'll keep at it to see if she looks for revenge.

I sometimes feel I've watched this before.
However, I enjoy this type of show.

Uninteresting Princess possessed by booby ghost. I'll keep going.

Nun event, perspective and group shot.
Another excellent season of this rom-com, the only thing I didn't quite like was a conflict that wasn't really there and of course in a such a fun show was revealed to be a silly misunderstanding for a silly reason.
Art and animation were the same or even a bit better.

Bridge.
Didn't have to wait long.
Somewhat of a transitiona season between 2 big arcs (from comments I've seen the next arc is big one, as was the magic exam at the end of season 1), apart from one location/fight they just blasted through enemies and settlements a bit too quickly.
Art and animation were still very good.
