What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

A rather large Stackry haul arrived recently:

Firstly, the anime titles, from MediaOCD.com and the US Crunchyroll Store via their respective Black Friday sales.

Non-anime titles:

From Criterion via their 50% off Black Friday sale.

And the main catalyst for this haul: from the Shout! Factory store closure sale: Shaw Brothers Classics Vols 1-7, plus the Brave Archer and Ti Lung/David Chiang collections. These were reasonably priced with the vols in a bundle - and even factoring in shipping them to the UK still came out cheaper per set than they ever have been in the past.

Recent arrivals/buys, typically I got MHA S6 LE from cex a day before the crunchyroll boxset sale went live.

Cex have returns till I think the end of January for items purcahsed from 1st Nov too 24th Dec ish (although I think the return is for voucher only, and its even if the item is just unwanted with in that purchased time frame, but if you paid in voucher it works out fine). But I assume this was instore, so it maybe a bit of a effort to get to your local store.
Just depends if there is any artbox defects compared to what you might get from a new version, but it looks pretty good condition.

MVM have the crunchyroll boxset sale going till the 5th of Jan (I assume rarewaves and other doing similar will be similar dates)

I did think about doing that but it's all in good condition so I couldn't be bothered with the faff to save a few £ tbh

Good old All the Anime, I always had complete faith.

Can't believe I almost bought the CE of Bookworm before I noticed the Blu-ray was £2.99. Bargain. Stand by to watch 2 episodes and drop it. 👻
Where's the fanservice?

Doing Patlabor in reverse. I've got the DVD of 3 ($1). Looking forward to these 2.

Might be worth checking the art book carefully as the pages on mine kinda stuck together a bit due to them usung some shiny sticky ish coating on the paper. Or that was kinda the case with mine (I should actually check mine again)

But also possible it was just mine that had a defect.

Just checked my copy, & can confirm the pages are also stuck together. Thankfully, they come apart easily enough.

I received my US copy of Perfect Blue 4K from Gruv today; this should be the last Blu-ray I receive in 2025:

2025 HAUL - DECEMBER v2

One item I picked up last Friday. Wanted to get this post sorted before the Christmas haul (no unboxings planned in that haul).

#16: Splendid Outing
It's very rare I would say to see Korean films released on home video these days so it was a surprise to see Radiance Films pick up a late 70s South Korean film for their line-up with Splendid Outing (화려한 외출), Kim Soo-yong's 1978 film, starring Yoon Jeong-hee (Poetry) and Lee Dae-geun (Insect Woman). Out of the ones that got released in December, this film was the only one that I didn't pre-order in advance so I bought a copy at my local HMV store. This print run is at 2500 which is lower than others so I expect this to sell out a bit faster than others.
